I live in a nice neighbourhood 2.5 ml from central Edinburgh in Stenhouse. We have 1 Double available with TV, Closet / Wardrobe, Fridge, Mirror, and Radio. I'm interested in socialising and travel, we are accepting of all types of guests.
Claire is 29 and Darren is 30. They both speak English and enjoys sports, socialising, watching movies, music, gigs, festivals, reading, travel, learning foreign languages, television, nature, fashion design, and theatre

We had a really nice time at Edinburgh. The cats are absolute lovely. Couldn't get enough of them!

Small untidy flat, noisy. There seemed to be only 3 mugs in the whole place, two used by hosts, so we used our own. Don't think hosts could be bothered with anything at all. Can't check in before 5.30pm as hosts work. Were told to help ourselves to stuff for breakfast but there was no bread, literally one spoon full of sugar left, half a portion of cornflakes left over...
Small bedroom that has now window (only a glass door) so gets quite stuffy unless you leave door open over night. 2 cats. Room totally overpriced despite discount offered.August 2016
We had a very nice stay at Clair and Darrens place and enjoyed two excellent days in Edinburgh during the Fringe. We recommand the stay also for couples, the room has a big comfortable bed and a small balcony. Clarre and Darren are very uncomplicated and helpful.

Had a great stay with Claire and Darren. They welcomed me early in the morning when I flew into Edinburgh which was really helpful. Directions were easy to follow. The flat is well located for getting into the city by bus. They come very regularly. Takes 10-15 minutes to get to princes street. Really comfortable bed which was great after long days walking around. Loved their place and their cats!! Would definitely return. Thanks!!

Claire was a great host and I enjoyed my stay. It is bit hard to find but isn't too bad! I loved it and the bus stop is very nearby to go into Edinburgh.

Best place with the best people. Claire and Darren are very friendly and helped a lot. The room is very cosy, a warm welcoming atmosphere/house with all conveniences. The bus stop to the city centre is only three minutes walk away from the house. My best experience abroad so far.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
