About the Homestay
I live in a lovely part of Edinburgh, just on the edge of the city. We have a lovely 4 bedroom new hour and you will have a private shower and toilet next to your bedroom. In the family there is myself, a Marketing Manager and my two sons aged 15 and 12, they attend high school. During the weekends the children are not around.
Its maximum 35 minute bus journey into the city centre where you will find lots of nice shops, cafes and restaurants, and of course history!
My kitchen and dining room are open plan, we have a large garden at the back and there is a secure garage to store a bike and parking space if you drive.

About the Area
Our house is located on the outskirt of Edinburgh, in an area called Danderhall. There are mostly families living in this area and lots of new houses have been built. The bus stop is around 8 minutes walk away! There are grocery stores 5 minutes walk away. Some of the people staying with me have had a job or internship at the Royal Infirmary hospital. Its very peaceful, clean and safe where I live.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
