I am a friendly, outgoing professional female who enjoys life and meeting new people. Life is too short not to enjoy it to the full and what better way to enjoy life is there than to meet new people.
My home is quirky and inviting and I pride myself on the fact that no one leaves with out having a lovely time.
I have a tiny dog named Rosie who helps me keep guests entertained. Don't worry if you are not a doggy person, Rosie will not have access to your room.
I work full time so am at work Mon - Fri all day and return in the evening.
Weekends liven up a little and generally, for me, consist of dog walking, cooking, catching up with friends and family and sometimes gin!
The room on offer is a large attic room with a beautiful ornate, super comfy double bed and a single bed that can be used as a sofa to watch the large flatscreen tv and enjoy Sky Q.
there is superfast Wi-Fi too.
There is an abundance of storage, to include drawers, wardrobes and a dressing table as well as plenty of lighting and a desk to study at if needed. Long stay guests will be expected to clean their own room. Towels and bedding is provided.
The bathroom is shared with myself. I provide towels and loo roll. There is a large bath with overhead rain shower.
The kitchen is well equipped with everything one needs. Guests are welcome to use any of the crockery/cutlery pots/pans etc..
There is a washing machine the guests can use.
The living room is inviting and I enjoy seeing my guests enjoy the space.
I have a pretty little courtyard type garden with potted plants and nice gsrden furniture to enjoy the morning sun.
There is plenty of parking outside my home if needed.
There is a bus stop just a 2 minute walk away. The town centre is an 8 minute ride away.
I provide a light breakfast (self service) to include coffee, tea, toast and cereals.
Smoking is permitted in the garden.
A non-refundable security deposit of 20% is required for stays of 7 nights and over. This can be paid into my Paypal account. Details upon request. The desposit will be refunded upon leaving once the room has been checked.

About the Area
The local area although near to a main road is quiet and my street only has a few houses.
There is plenty of parking if needed
The bus stop is a 2 minute walk from the house.
There are several take aways nearby and a local Tesco Express just a 5 minute walk away.
There are a few parks and some nice walking paths nearby. a drive in any direction of 5 minutes and you will be in the countryside. the countryside in and around Halifax is stunning.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
