We live in a beautiful 5 bedroom house in a quiet and safe part of broomfield, near Herne Bay. The house has a nice big kitchen & breakfast room and inviting lounge available to share. We have a lovely garden with trampoline and swimming pool, BBQ, bikes & outdoor toys for the warmer months. There is a twin en suite room available . The sea & local beaches are a short ride away and the city of Canterbury only 15mins drive.
Our family consists of myself and partner and our 12 year old daughter and 7 year old son. As we are very family orientated we have all necessary furniture and toys etc for a family staying with us and are happy to help out and share what we have with other children.
Extra meals are available for a small fee.
A light Breakfast consisting of cereals and toast is included in the room price.

About the Area
Our house is located within easy distance to the Thanet way-the main road network linking east kent to the m25 etc. There are train stations about a 5min drive away and bus routes right outside the main estate.
Herne bay is a short drive away along with all the lovely local beaches. The city of Canterbury is a 20min drive away and the airport of Manston is 10mins away via car too.
There is a local shop and post office within easy walking distance and a bit of a further walk there is a hairdressers and food take away outlets.

Meals

Please treat our home as you would your own and as there is new cream carpet down we don't allow shoes in certain parts of the house. You are welcome to use anything in the house and Other basic rules will be explained on arrival.

Friendly welcome,helpful at all times.
Enjoying a quiet situation which gavel us a nicer quiet sleep.

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour à Herne Bay, avons été très bien accueilli par Anneliese et ses proches. Nous étions comme en famille ! L'accueil est très chaleureux, nos enfants ont beaucoup apprécié de pouvoir partager les jeux, les rires, etc. Nous gardons un très beau souvenir de ce passage près de Canterbury.

We had a wonderful stay over the weekend of 2nd - 4th September 2016, with my Fiancee and baby. It was lovely that it felt like a home away from home, very clean and lovely decor. Anneliese and her family are very friendly hosts and welcoming towards their guests. It was conveniently situated close to a bus stop which was very handy for us as we use public transport. Thank-you for an amazing first trip away with home stay family and we really enjoyed our experience. We look forward to staying again if we visit the Herne Bay area! love, Justin, Emma and Zachary xx

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
