Herne Bay: perfect for a seaside holiday!
I live with my husband and our 3 young children in sunny Herne Bay, east Kent. Herne Bay is a beautiful little town with clean beaches, a bustling town with lots of independent shops, and plenty of friendly cafes. We also have mini-golf, a good leisure centre and some lovely leafy parks.
We are a short distance from the beautiful historic city of Canterbury and Whistable (which has a lovely harbour to explore). Also, London is only an hour and a half away on the train! There are lots of sandy beaches to explore nearby on the East Kent coast too.
Large but cosy family home
Our home is big, warm, and welcoming, and best of all, only 5 minutes walk from the beach! We have 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a big lounge, a huge playroom and kitchen (with a dining area) and a raised big back garden with a patio area.
My children, husband and I would love to welcome you into our home! :-)

About the Area
Close to the town, with great transport links!
Our house is in a quiet residential road, a short walk from Herne Bay town centre (10 minutes) and the sea (5 minutes).
Herne Bay town is very friendly and has something for everyone! There are lots of lovely little cafes, restaurants, and unique little shops.
The bus stop is 5 minutes' walk away, with direct buses to Canterbury, Whitstable and Margate.
The train station is a short 5 minute drive away, with direct links to London and all major airports. There are also coaches that run from Herne Bay directly to London.

Please do not invite strangers into our home. If you would like to invite a friend over just agree it with me in advance.
Please do not adjust the heat settings yourself, ask me and I will happily do it for you.
Please keep noise to a minimum after midnight please, there are young children in the house.
Please enjoy your stay and treat our house as you would your own home!
Smoking Rules
Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is allowed outdoors only.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
