About the Area

We are in a quiet cul-de-sac about a 5-minute walk from Slaithwaite village centre. The village is a bustling and lively place especially at weekends where it is a stop-off point on a real ale trail, and popular with locals and visitors to the area. We are a 2-minute walk from the station with regular trains to Leeds and Manchester which are both about 45 minutes away. We are 1 hour 16 minutes from Manchester airport. We are near the Huddersfield Narrow Canal along which there is a walk to Marsden, the next village. Close to the Peak District and Pennine Way we are in hiking country and there are numerous walks in the area. Slaithwaite has several cafes and restaurants, a wine bar, pubs and various shops.
