We’re an engaged couple who love to cook and have company around. We live in a lovely 3 bed house with three bathrooms so we’re delighted to say that the room comes with an en-suite fully fit with a bath storage and a sink with vanity.
We have a cat and a dog and love to go out to the local woods (about a 5 minute walk away) or the local beach for the day. We both work full time jobs so we’re not home as much as we like to be but we make do with what we have.
We live on a lovely private road in a quite neighbourhood; that being said we’re not far from Portsmouth (one 12 minute bus journey and 10 minute ferry ride later!) and have a lot of good shops around.
We both drive so if there is ever an instance you need a lift somewhere we’re more than happy to do so!

About the Area
Our house is opposite the HMS Sultan, this means that we’re in a very secure military area. Our nearest hospital is 3.8 miles away with the nearest woods/park being less that 0.2 miles away from our home.
The nearest shopping centre is a tie between Gunwharf Quays (an outlet in Portsmouth that also has a lot of entertainment nearby such as bowling alleys and cinemas) which is 2.6 miles away and Fareham shopping centre which is 5 miles away in the heart of its town. Our nearest bus stop is 2 minutes away, with a bus that goes both towards our nearest station (Fareham Station) and towards our town centre where you can take the Ferry onto the other side of the river and see Portsmouth!
We have a lot of water near us, the nearest beach is 2.8 miles away, just about a 40 minute walk or a 20 minute bike ride.

- Smoking not allowed indoors.
- Please keep our home secure and lock doors and windows when leaving the house.
- Feel free to use the kitchen but please clean up after yourself.
- Please do not bring strangers into our home. If you would like to invite a friend over, ask first.
- Please respect our home but feel comfortable. Treat it as your own house for the duration of your stay.
- Please ensure that you keep your room and bathroom clean, this means we ask that you vacuum the room at least once a week as well as frequently bleach/clean the bathroom too
- Please no shoes in the house
- Please respect our animals - we love them and want them to feel safe in our home too

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
