Hi my partner and myself live in a lovely cottage close to the village of Beningbrough and Newton on Ouse. There is a bus route but buses aren’t too regular, so car or bicycle is an advantage. We do have bikes you can use and we’re about 7/8 miles outside of York city centre. This is a lovely double room with a king size bed and very private. The village is peaceful and quiet and a very pretty part of the Yorkshire countryside close to the river Ouse. Super-fast internet access and tv available.

Located just outside the beautiful and historical city of York within easy access by bus, car or bicycle. Access to large nearby shopping outlet and close to the river Ouse with stunning views. Walk into the village and try a pub lunch in one of the local pubs or go on one of the lovely local walks around Beningborough.

Amazing. The room was kept spotless and the service was exceptional. It's a home away from home. Very comfortable bed and the Wifi was super fast. The room was like a hotel room with a TV, free clean towel daily, coffee kettle and artwork on the wall. Daily access was granted to the well-equipped kitchen. Had access to fine wine cups and a refrigerator to store food. The experience exceeded my expectations. I recommend without any reservations.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
