Carmel is a wonderful host full of warmth. Excellent rooms kept to the highest standard. You got to be there to see the difference. If I ever go to liverpool again my first preference would be this place. Thanks again Carmel.

Carmel is a lovely person, she helped me a lot, we had a few chats. I could use the kitchen whenever I wanted to, there was enough space for my food in the fridge, I could stroke the cat which was very friendly... I liked staying with Carmel as it was perfect for me, I could see Wavertree Park from my window, foodstore and swimming pool was very near, bus stops to all directions, so I think the location is perfect, even from / towards the airport. If you travel alone, and like to have a cat at hand, if you like green environment but also shops (and pubs / restaurants, barbers and so on) within a few minutes walking distance, you'll like it. The kitchen may be too small for a family, and I don't know if you could eat in the bigger rooms. But for a couple or a loney traveller I would surely recommend it!

we really enjoyed our stay. Carmel was great. We were glad to meet the Cat!

Our time in Carmel's home was really nice! Carmel is very friendly and she welcomed us with tea, chocolates and a map of Liverpool on wich she pointed out the places to see. She asked us what we were interested to see, in order to give us the best advice she could. Her house is located in a really quiet area and is close to buses, restaurants and shops. The city centre and the airport are just 20 minutes away by bus. We are huge Beatles fans and it was exciting to pass through Penny Lane every morning to take the bus. We also took a nice 40 minutes walk from Carmel's house to Strawberry Field and Woolton Village. Our room was nice, clean and warm, with all we needed. The bathroom gets a bit cold because of the window having to stay open for the cat, but Gerrard is such a friendly cat I didn't mind the chilly air!

Our time in Carmels Homestay in Liverpool was nice. Carmel is a very friendly and helpful person. She gives good tips what to do and to see in town. Her house is located in a quiet area but good connected to the public transports. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable with enough space for us and our luggage.
