Hello, I on the border of Waterloo and Seaforth in a large 7 bedroomed house with my teenage daughter, two cats and a lady lodger who lives upstairs in my attic. My House is warm and comfortable and many of the original features remain as would have when Captain Smith who was the Captain of the Titanic, lived here in 1876. We have a small garden to the rear which gets the afternoon and evening sun, in the Summer.
We are just a short, almost traffic free walk from the beach and marine lake where the is a Costal path that runs to Formby, an Area of outstanding beauty and National Trust Costal reserve
The famous Anthony Gormley Statues can be seen along this beach. Bikes can be hired at very good rated close by and it takes about an hour to get to Formby by bike.
Liverpool can also be reached by cycle path along the Leeds to Liverpool canal that also is close. This journey will take you into the heart of historic docklands that have undergone huge development in the past years
We are very close to buses and trains into Liverpool and Southport and beyond. Waterloo has a great selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. It is a fifteen minute journey to the city centre on the train or half and hour on a bus. the bus stop is 1 minute walk from the house, the train station is 10 minutes.
My kitchen, dining room, outside space and washing facilities are open for guest to use as they need. I have hosted many international guests over the last ten years. I am friendly, approachable and always try to make sure my guests are comfortable and relaxed.
