We live on the 37 bus route which takes you into Edinburgh. Edinburgh is around 7 miles away from Loanhead and £1.80 per trip.
My children are well behaved kids, with good manners and both enjoy "talking" and getting to know people.

Enjoyed our stay with Louise and family. Rooms comfortable and clean. Louise sent details for the stay in a timely manner. All the info provided was clear. Kettle and cups available in the room to make a brew. There's a bus that takes you into Edinburgh a few minutes walk from the house, there is a park and ride in Loanhead and one @ 8 mins away as an option if you are driving. would stay here again.

Louise was veru helpfull in answering questions about our trip. Instructions were clear. The area and the house are quiet close to bus stop. Good bedding, clean linens and towels. Bathroom was not clean it was unpleasant. Having a kettle in the room was a good intention but it was not in good condition. Place is ok just to sleep.

Thank you Louise and family! It was a joy to stay in your home. The location was great for taking the bus into Edinburgh or the countryside. Nice also to have M & S Foodhall nearby for travel food.

Stayed with Louise for a full month during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. We had a great time! Louise is wonderful and made our stay feel like home. The shower is out of this world and the bunk beds are really comfy. Special mention for Sienna who helped make our even better and Ozzy the cutest and chillest dog.
While the house was 30ish minutes on the bus from the city centre, there is a retail park right by the house and the bus service round Edinburgh was fab and really efficient.
Highly recommended staying with Louise!

My stay was great and it made feel me at home. I booked the room a day before my arrival in Edinburgh. Despite the short notice, Louise was friendly and accommodating. She was supportive right from the airport. She took my baggage in even when it wasn't check-in time. She also assisted me in getting permanent accommodation for my studies. I am indeed grateful. The experience gained will remain historical in my Edinburgh journey.
