I stayed for just over three months and had a fabulous time. The house is warm, welcoming and friendly, and the other housemates are a joy. The cats (all five of them) made it feel just like a home. Julia is hilarious and wonderfully hospitable, and was always up for a chat and a cup of tea. I couldn't recommend Julia's place enough. Thank you!

Actually advertised as a "lovely Victorian bedroom" is not really a bedroom but a makeshift living room. There was no place to hang our clothes just one or two small drawers to put small stuff. In the kitchen, the cats were on the kitchen table. I love the house and its occupants because it gave us an inkling of a real British life. The people living in this house were varied with different jobs, very interesting and gave us a change from the usual cold hotel rooms. I love that we were welcomed the first day, the host was not there but there was this young man who made tea and made us feel welcome.
