We are situated in South Woodford, east London, in a quiet residential road 5 mins walk from the central line tube station. The train will take you into the centre of London in 20 mins. Parking is available at the cost of £3 per day. We have a large family home with two bedrooms available. One single and one twin room (has TV). There is a lounge, dinning room, kitchen, two bathrooms and a big well kept garden.
I live with my husband, along with our golden retriever and two cats. We have had many years of experience hosting students from around the world and enjoy meeting people from around the world. Ideal placement if you want to improve your English. We are happy to help with planning activities and days out. You will be treated to good international home cooking should you choose to have half board at an additional cost of £4.00 per meal. Meals should be requested by 4pm the evening it is required. Laundry service is available.
The area is popular with young people with plenty of bars, restaurants shops and a cinema. The Epping Forest is just 15 mins walk away where you can enjoy walks around the boating lake, and take boat rides. The roding river is also 10 mins walk away ideal for relaxation and watching out for wild life. Over 18's only. Long term stays welcome.

About the Area
Our house is located on the east side of London (see below for directions) Once with us your are just 20mins into the city centre. South Woodford station is just 5 mins walk from our home, using the Central line which is a direct line into the city centre. Bus stops are just 3 mins away to take you to adjacent areas. We are just 10mins by train to the biggest shopping centre in Europe (Westfields). South Woddford is a safe and lively area with a cinema, bars, and many restaurants. The forest and boating lake is just a 10 min walk away as well as a walk along the beautiful river .

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
