We were so happy to meet Maria and her family! They are so open hearted and helpful people.Their house is located in a nice neighborhood actually not far from the city center. The room was nice and comfortable!Every morning Maria cooked a very delicious real English breakfast for us which included sausages, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, cereal, juice ,tea etc. We spent evenings just chatting and discussing many interesting issues. My son had a chance to play several games of chess with Oliver who used to be a school chess champion. The family lives music,so we had a lot in common in this sense. Next time we come we'll definitely stay with them again! !!We loved them so much!
My husband and I stayed in this very comfortable and lovely home for a few nights.Maria is a friendly and thoughtful host and went over and above what we expected and served us delicious breakfasts .The house has lots of character and is very welcoming. We hope to return another time .
Wonderful experience, they were so friendly and welcoming. Am trying to think of reasons to go back!
Lovely room and house very close to shops and cafes and public transport. Breakfast was offered. Maria is so lovely. A great experience. I do not hesitate to recommend.
We had a lovely stay with Maria and her Family. They live in a beautiful old house and have a wonderful Garden with good smells Roses. It's difficult to find the house because the property is between houses. And it's in Zone 3 but near a station so we walked ibly 5 minutes and we had good Transport connections from the Station. We had the room with own bathroom. It was nice and good. We slept well. The breakfast was wonderful and better than in every Hotel. She ask every day what we want and answer our wishes. We had a mixture of British and international breakfast. She makes scones and clottedcream at the last morning. And we are very thankful because we planed our Tour in the evening and they gave us very good Tips, Information and Ideas.
Although we only stayed one night we were made to feel very welcome. It will certainly be our first choice next time we are looking for accommodation in London
Whole our homestay was without problems. Maria and Oliver were very nice and kind. Our room was very tidy and clean. We had fresh bedding and towels every week. Breakfasts were delicious too. We recommend this homestay. We had very nice time there.
Response back was prompt and we were able to get the large bedroom w/toilet and shower which was lovely! Breakfast was exactly as we wished: yogurt, juice, fresh fruits, toast and jam.
The family was quite nice, very friendly and exceptionally helpful as there was a two day "tube" strike but Marie made sure we were able to get into the city via bus. The neighborhood was mostly quiet and there are three very good local restaurants.
The one negative was the lack of water pressure and not enough hot water for showers.
Maria and Oliver are very friendly and chetty. Their house is old but beautiful - and hard to find. But once we found it, we had agreat time there, drank a lot of tea together with lovely Maria who cared for us almost like a mother. The room was big, as well as the comfortable bed. The transport links were also great! We recommend this homestay, you will be missing nothing.
