BIG CLEAN QUIET DOUBLE ROOM in central Sutton -short 10 mins bus ride from Morden Underground tube train, or a 30 minute train from London Victoria train station to Sutton station.
tucked away in a quiet Cul De Sac where you only hear birds song . . USE OF FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN AND BATHROOM WITH POWER SHOWER

Guests ( just like me)- will remove shoes on entry & should clean the bath after shower & leave the kitchen as you find it please -you are required to put dishes away -wipe hob ( cooker) & sweep foor after use
Rule is " leave it as you find it" for kitchen & bathroom so this hone is always fresh & hygenic.

The home is located 10 minutes bus from London Underground morden Station & 10 minute walk from nearby Sutton Common train Station with a fast 30 minute regular service to London Victoria Station .well kept gardens nearby & a pedestrian only High Street with a big choice of shops , Supermarkets-, nearest being a 5 minute walk ( Sainsburys & LIDL)
A lovely place to relax in peace and quiet. Always some flowers in bloom. Regular buses to Morden tube -30 mins from there to central London or Croydon

House Rules
we keep to these rules ourselves -
on entry- shoes off & bring heavy luggage in slowly gently & carefully- to avoid scratching & chipping the walls or marking them with hands or suitcases- a common problem for many hosts when guests arrive tired & dont kniw the interior of the home yet. Allow us to help you carry luggage gently & safely into your room. Deposit & Payment will be done then you will get a set of keys, & receipt for deposit - held for breakages & refundable on departure
leave the kitchen and bathroom clean as you find it-
after cooking -dishes away & sweep any any spillage from floor.We leave it clear & clean for next person to use so expect the same from guests.
Sponge & spray by bath to clean after showering-leave bath as clean & clear as you find it Do not use permanent hair dye in the bath- tbis can & will stain most baths.
. Use toilet brush- (surprisingly many guests dont-) but this home must be kept hygenic.
You can use pots and pans and dishes-so long as they are washed & rinsed & put away after use. Please dry around the sink with cloth provided after use-- -to keep sink free of limescale & bacteria.
. 'leave it as you find it' -is the rule for ourselves and guests
there is a communal garden for smokers-( no smoking indoors)
.If kitchen door is shut--please let the user finish -& nobody will disturb you if you close the door.
guests must be clean and quiet please close doors quietly after 10 pm and before 9am. Leave bathroom door open after use to air it & also to show if it is in use or vacant..
Guests can use the washing machine and hang clothes to dry on the clothes horse beside the window -- 1 laundry load per person ,per week-same as us, clothes can be dried , indoors on the drying stand .
Food can be eaten in kitchen or on table in room. If carrying food into the room - best use a tray & please no drinking wine in bed ( yes-we had an expensive matress ruined this way)
.please use the rubber blade to remove water from the wall tiles around the shower, & wipe dry the silicone seal around bath to prevent black mould.
guests should be out most days 12 midday to 6pm as it may be noisy -thats when we clean & vacuum the house. and do any maintenance Please close front door quietly & gently -avoid disturbing next door nice neighbour. Guests are welcome to stay in the home all day to rest if needed, preferably out most days

Patricia and Tom were lovely and conscientious hosts.
They had recently moved, so things were still a bit unsettled in the space during the week, but I think they navigated that gracefully overall.
It was a decent first experience using Homestay, and I would recommend them to others.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
