We live in Tooting, a lively, multicultural area of south London, in a small, quiet and friendly road. Your single room overlooks our lovely garden. We provide a light breakfast with the added bonus of our delicious homemade bread!
We are near Tooting Broadway and Tooting Bec tube stations from where you can get to central London and see all its sights - Buckingham Palace, Oxford/Regent Streets, Big Ben, British Museum etc in around 30 minutes. We are happy to make suggestions about things to do and see in London, just ask!
If you love tennis we are only two stops from Wimbledon by overground train, where the world famous tennis championships are held each year.
We have good airport connections to Heathrow, Gatwick, and Luton (Stansted airport is a bit further away) and if you are coming by Eurostar it's easy to reach us. We also have a cat called Misha.
We are happy to welcome holidaymakers, students, interns and those who are starting work in London and look forward to making your stay in London a happy and fulfilling one!

About the Area
We live in Tooting, south London in Zone 3. It is a bustling area with a market, many shops, restaurants, bars and trendy cafes. There are good transport connections; two tube stations, an overground station as well as many bus services. We are very close to a park with a large pond where you can go running or have a pleasant walk, and there are also tennis courts nearby.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
We are a non-smoking household but you are welcome to smoke outside.
No outdoor shoes upstairs. Washing machine can be used once a week.
We only accept adult females over 18 years. We are happy to host a guest with a child.
Come and go as you like and please be quiet after 10pm.
Please lock your window and the front door when you go out.
Please let us know in advance if you want to invite a friend over.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
