Hello, I’m Saru and I live with my husband in a residential area in the borough of Barking and Dagenham in London. We are very friendly and approachable and will welcome new guests, our home is your home! We will make sure to offer you with a stay you will remember and also provide you with tips on how to get around London and the best places to go. We will treat you like family!
Our home is a 10 minute walk from Upney Underground Station and we are 10 minutes away from Barking Railway Station where you can get trains straight into Central London.
We also have buses which can take you all over London.
We live in a very safe neighbourhood with friendly neighbors and faces!
We are about 45 minutes away from popular tourist attractions such as Oxford Street, Leicester Square, London Eye, Big Ben, Museums, markets and galleries. (via underground train)
Universities such as East London, Greenwich and Southbank are easily accessible from our home as are other colleges such as Barking, Leyton, Newvic, Redbridge, and Havering.
Ilford, Romford and Stratford shopping centre offer an array of shops, bars and restaurants which is within easy reach from our home. We also have a local Asda and Tesco just 10 minutes away from us!
From our home, it is about a 20 minute walk to 3 different local parks in our area.
We are also close to local cafes, gym facilities, swimming pools, spas, markets and play areas as our home is near the local town centre.
Parking is available for free at our home!
Our home provides a garden and is very relaxed and quiet for your stay, we will also provide a continental breakfast for your stay.
The home has a living room and dining area for you to relax, you are free to watch TV and use the computer.
Laundry facilities are also available.
All other meals will come at an extra cost however you have free access to the kitchen to cook the meals that suit you.
No smoking is allowed in the house but you are free to smoke in the garden.

About the Area
Our home is located on the east side of the city in a safe neighbourhood. The bus stop is a one minute walk from our home it serves many buses. We are also 35 minutes away from London City Airport.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
