The home is a 3 bedroom apartment very close to the river near Albert Embankment. I am offering 1 of the rooms which is a single room furnished. I live in the apartment but work most of the time Mondays to Fridays. I love to travel and explore the world when not working and currently learning to speak French in addition to 2 other languages I speak fluently.

About the Area
My apartment is located on the South side of the river very close to Albert Embankment. It is a very quiet neighbourhood, therefore, a good place to relax after the hustle of being in the centre of town. The West End is 25 minutes walking distance but many bus routes are available as well 3 Metro stations which are all in close proximity.
For restaurants, there are several Indian restuarants on Kennington Road as well as a Pizza Express, Pizza Hut, a Chinese Restaurant, 2 new Japanese restaurants several coffee shops, a Fish and chips shop, a couple of good pubs that also serve food.
A local supermarket is also within 3 minutes walking distance to grab certain essentials.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

I do not accommodate anyone under 18 years old nor do I accept guests who may want to bring children.
No outside shoes allowed upstairs. House slippers can be provided or bring your own.
Please leave everything as you found it.
Scrape water off the bathroom tiles after a shower and wash after to get rid of dirt.
The building requires a fob for entry. Please do not lose as this will incur an extra cost of £20.
Washing machine will not be available for anyone staying less than a week.
Shower has a pump for better water pressure, so please no late showers during the working week. Late is after 23:00.
I do not provide consumables for you to bath or shower nor for you to wash your clothes so please buy your own consumables like shower gel and laundry tablets/softener.
Please note that the outstanding balance of your stay is due on arrival. If this is going to be a problem please let me know what your payment plan is in order for me to accept or reject your request.

It was a comfortable stay, and Michael was welcoming, although I didn't have a lot of time to talk to him. I was able to check in and check out at the times I asked him, which was very convenient. The room was as described, though it was not 100% clean. Everything went smoothly. A good option if what you want is a simple room close to the city centre for visiting London.

My stay in London went very well. Michael has great hospitality and made my experience enjoyable by giving me good tips for exploring the city. The room is comfortable and welcoming. If you are in London and looking for a good host in Vauxhall, which is very close to the city center, I would highly recommend staying with Michael!

it was ok. nothing too special, basic home, host was friendly. He didn't give no troubles at all; the location is very nice close to a lot of places by walking. Michael is a simple and a good guy. I enjoyed my stay honestly.

Michael is lovely, super chilled. The room was nice, perfect for a short stay, and I love the area, very green, shops and restaurants nearby, easy access to centre and a nice river walk. It is not the cleanest of flats, a little dusty, but it was a very hot few days and all windows were open, so fair enough. Thanks, Michael.

The apartment has a very good location in London and the rent is not too expensive. I found the apartment dirty. Indeed, there was dust, the bathroom and the kitchen were not very clean. I stayed in the apartment from March to May (2 months) and it was very cold in my room (15 degrees) so I had trouble falling asleep. I do not recommend this accommodation for your stay in London.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
