Firstly - what a wonderful family! Angeline-Camilia, Herschel and their daughter are all so welcoming, friendly and helpful. I really cannot recommend them enough!
This was my first Homestay experience I so was a little nervous and unsure what to expect, and whag a pleasant surprise it was.
I was only there a few days but was made to feel right at home, such a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
I briefly met other guests who had already been there a few weeks; 2 brothers who were working and studying, and a female student. It was clear that they were all very happy indeed and had a great relationship with their hosts.
The whole house was clean and tidy. My room had a double bed, loads of wardrobe space, full length mirror, bedside cabinet and a fan.
I would more than happily stay there again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Angeline and Harshell were great host and hostess. We -3 ladies from Azerbaijan enjoyed a lot staying in their house. They are very nice people, very friendly. We sang songs, danced together, shared our culture. They took care of me when i felt sick.I recommend all the people their homestay.Any time i come to London will stay only in their house, because ,it is not easy to find such kind of hospitable and kindhearted people. I love you very much, dear Angie and Harshell! It is a pity that i must rate only from 1 to 5 heart, I would like to rate them with 10 hearts
An excellent place to live, friendly and loving host who is always available to share a conversation with her guest. A well organised host with neat and exciting homestay feelings. Wish to book again in the near future if feasible. WEill urge fellows to book and will never regret their bookings at Angeline's place. Really pleased and enjoyed every bit of my 5 nights.
Our family had a wonderful stay with this kind family, who went out of their way to make us feel at home. The room was very tidy and the environment was quite relaxed. Highly recommend!
We chose this option for getting a base camp to crisscross the country and sharing the different cultures and languages. We met a nice family and we were warmly welcome by all the members.
We have spent 3 days there and we visited Oxford and Bath.
Camilia is such a nice lady, she is very thoughtful, patient. Camilia and her family are really nice and made me feel at home. I would highly recommend Camilia's place to anyone who is visiting London or looking to stay in that area.
wonderful time with wonderful people :)
Cammy is definitely a great host for our stay. They are sweet and helpful as to pick us up from airport and brought us to get our Oyster card before we started our travel in UK. She is approachable and just communicate to her if you need anything. Cammy's husband is a guitar lover, you can jam song with him if you know guitar =)
Home owner: sweet and helpful, made us feel like being in own home.
Location: 5mins walking distance to bus station, 8mins bus distance to nearest tube station (Harold Wood), 20mins to Liverpool street station. It takes 45mins to 60mins to reach city center by public transport in short. Recommend for long stay. If for short stay which less than a week, recommend to stay in city center to save some travel time.
Facilities: shared bathroom and kitchen, fridge, air conditioning, dining table, hair dryer and etc.
Nearby: Walking distance to row of shoplots which including restaurant and stores.
Breakfast: Light breakfast I.e cereals and milk is provided.
Notes to owner:
It will be great if a small table and dustbin can be put inside the triple room.
Proper, clean and comfortable home and a Very Nice and Welcoming Family. All was very smooth and the stay was easygoing. Surrounding is quiet and proper suburb with few shops at reasonable distance. As it's a suburb you can't expect grate range of pubs, restaurants and cafes or opening hours as in city. Quick walk to the train station is 15 min and then 30-35 min to Liverpool stn (every 15 min). Fair enough. Thank you for saving our weekly stay after disastrous experience in rented room closer to city!
I had a five-week-long work experience with my friend in London and first I was staying with another host family in Walthamstow and they were so bad that I had to leave after just two days of stay. After this I lived in a hotel for about a week. But it was getting very expensive so I had to search for another accommodation. My friend left me alone in London and I had to find a loving family to stay with on my own. Luckily, my colleagues helped me with the search, because I was in a foreign country, totally on my own and I really didn't know what to do. We found Angeline's page at Homestay and it looked really nice, but I was afraid to book again on homestay, because of the further bad experience with the first family. I contacted them and asked, if they had a free room for me at short notice, because I'm really desperate about my situation. She was telling me, that they don't have a single-room free, but in fact I was very lost in this situation, and she offered me the double-room that was free at the time. I had a good feeling about them, she called me after finishing the booking, not like my first family. They cared so much. She gave me every important information I had to know. They even picked me up from the hotel I was staying on a sunday. Nice people, I thought. I will have a beautiful time there.
So I booked the double-room. I stayed at Angeline's for about three weeks. All I can tell you about them is: They are so nice. They care about you, as if you were their own child. When I was on my way to work the first day, she called me and asked if I was okay. The day before she showed me where the bus stop is. They are really friendly and you can have much fun talking to them. If you have any problems, they will help you immediately solving them. The house is beautiful. It's always clean and I felt very comfortable staying there. It was a nice stay that I will never forget, they helped to repair the flop caused by the first family. I am really thankful, that I had the chance to stay with them.
