My name is Betty and my home is 20 minutes away from central London. I have 1 Double room available to homestay guests.
Betty is 32 and enjoys sports, socialising, cooking, watching movies, music, gigs, festivals, reading, travel, learning foreign languages, television, nature, fashion design, and theatre. She speaks English and German!

House Rules
DEPOSIT:
-A deposit of £70 is required for all stays of 4 nights or more.
-A cleaning fee of £20 will be charged for all stays of 4 nights or more.
CLEANING:
-All food is to be consumed in the sitting room, NO eating in the bedrooms.
-Please clean up after yourself. If you cook, clean up after not later, wash your dishes and wipe down surfaces. I keep my home very clean and would like it to stay that way.
-Unless you have requested cleaning and have paid for it, please hoover your room, clean the bath etc after use. If I am to constantly clean up after you, you will be asked to leave and the booking will be cancelled. Any cleaning or damage incurred will be deducted from your remaining payment.
-Please keep our home secure and double-lock the front door when entering and leaving the house
-Please do not adjust the heat settings yourself, ask me and I will happily do it for you
-Keep noise to a minimum after 10pm weekdays, weekends feel free but please be considerate.
-Please do not invite strangers into our home; if you would like to invite a friend over just agree it with me in advance.
-Please enjoy your stay and treat our house as you would your own home!
Lastly, it is a no shoe house so please bring slippers.
EXTRAS:
-There is no better way to learn a foreign language than to speak it in everyday situations. Your host Betty offers qualified language instruction in her native language English. One hour of instruction costs 30.00 GBP. The classes will be given by the host herself at the accommodation.
-Additional available services at an extra charge (payable directly to your host on arrival):

-Stays of 4 nights or more: Regular room cleaning fee: 6.00 GBP per every 3 days if required
-Lunch: 6.00 GBP per person per night if required
-Dinner: 6.00 GBP per person per night if required
-Charge for washing machine usage: 5.00 GBP per machine load
-Internet/ WIFI: Free for paying guest.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
