About the Area
A comfortable, bright and very large double room in this very nice house 10 minutes to Hammersmith tube station 5 minutes by walk to Major shops, like Waitrose ,Sainsbury's bars and all main Bus route to every way in London street. In addition to the cinema and pubs of King Street, leisure activity also takes place along Hammersmith's pedestrianised riverside, home to a number of pubs, rowing clubs and the riverside park of Furnival Gardens. Hammersmith also has a large municipal park called Ravenscourt Park located to the west of the centre. Its facilities include tennis courts, a basketball court, a bowling lawn, a paddling pool and playgrounds.[19] The whole area is covered by the same W6 postcode as Hammersmith town centre.

This is one of the worst stays I've ever had in my life. Not in London, not in Europe but in my life. Michelle's house was VERY dirty upon arrival and she violated and entered our room multiple times during our stay. One day she woke us up banging on the door asking for payment. We had taken out funds to give her and was going to set them on table but she insisted on collecting at 8am and waking us up. On check-out we had gotten there at 11am to get our things and pack and she had entered the room and packed all of our things for us. Touching all our personal items. I have never felt this way for a place I've stayed for in my life. I wrote to her to ask for a discount for this stay and she refused. BEWARE DO NOT BOOK.

absolutely loved it at Michelle's, she is so funny and lovely to talk to. she was very welcoming and was overall a very good host. the room was clean and nice and the bed was very comfortable, had no issues with noise and a great nights sleep.

Our stay at Michelle's place was very challenging. First of all, we experienced some troubles as the phone numbers indicated by Michelle on the website were out of order and we could not reach her to agree on check in time. We had to contact homestay twice to solve this issue.
- The following morning, around 8am, Michelle had a fight with one of her guest and the two were throwing things at each other. Police was called.
-The third and Fourth morning, Michelle woke us up at 5 am in the morning as she was talking loudly on the phone.
On top of that, the house was filthy and no breakfast included as promised on her homestay page.
Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this place

My brief stay with Michelle was truly Devine indeed,not only did she made me feel at total comfort,she made certain that there was ample contact from the very start,such an astonishing lady indeed,I laughed the entire time because of her warming personally,the room was absolutely perfect extremely clean yet also the blissful oasis,would without question recommend staying there as there's ample amount of shop at arms reach yet there's truly nothing that captures the soul more than having a utterly magnificent host,yes (five thumbs up) :-))

Michelle made me welcome right from the start. She is a great host, friendly and helpful. Her house is in a nice area,and walking distance to where I needed to be. The house it warm bright and clean. I intend booking with her again the next time I need to go down to London. Thanks Michelle:-)

I can't believe the host cannot be reached by phone or email at all. I was waiting for the whole afternoon and this is completely not acceptable. Of course this is not affecting my schedule but I am angry with this.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
