About the Homestay
I live in a large one-bedroom bright and sunny flat in a lovely Victorian conversion. Very green and peaceful area with stunning views of the magnificent Alexandra Palace. Close to nice shops, restaurants and very good travel links: Piccadilly Line, network South East Moorgate to Cambridge and excellent bus routes. I have a thriving social life and see my family and friends often as well as volunteering at my local, thriving church where there is a diverse mix of people young to elderly.

About the Area
Close to Muswell Hill and Crouch End which are lively areas with nice cafes, restaurants and cinema. The historical Alexandra Palace, set in beautiful grounds with ice rink, lake and hosting many different events and farmers markets,etc, is very close by. Also close to Wood Green which has shopping mall and two cinemas, library and many diverse and reasonably priced restaurants offering Mediterranean cuisine.

Very clean, quiet and cosy room. Kitchen facilities. 15-min walk from metro station (Piccadilly line). Lots of shops choices in the area.

I had a fantastic time staying at this address. Patricia went out of her way to make me feel welcome and even met me at the Tube station to show me the way back to her flat. The room is bright and spotlessly clean. The bed is very comfortable and warm. Plenty of storage space and wifi. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in London.
The local tube station is only a few minutes walk and I was in central London within minutes.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
