About the Homestay
Family home near Peckham Rye park
I live in a mid terrace family home with my husband in Zone 2 in London. The centre of London is in Zone 1. There are good transport links.
Our house has 3 bedrooms and a living room with a separate dining room and kitchen. There is a small utility room with a washing machine and downstairs toilet. Our bathroom has a shower and bidet and has recently been refurbished. There is medium sized garden at the back of the house. We live on a quiet road in south east London.
We live near East Dulwich which has a great selection of bars, restaurants and shops. We are also close to cosmopolitan Peckham, which has speciality foods, markets and bars. Recently, some new restaurants and bars have opened in Peckham Rye.

It was a lovely stay at Michelle's place. It's clean & had a lovely view from the window. The area is quiet & I had a good night sleep there. It's only a few stops on a bus from her place to the Peckham Rye train station either on the London Overground or National Rail. This makes my travelling to Central London & other parts of London very easy. I would recommend to stay at Michelle's if you are a single traveller & liked nice & quiet place.
Great place to stay and very kind people.
I had a pleasant stay at Michelle's & Cooper's. A small but very clean room with everything I needed, and a breakfast every morning. In the weekends, Michelle made me genuine English breakfast! Both Michelle and her husband 'Cooper' are really nice and helpful people. When my car didn't start, Cooper helped me with cables. In the street there is plenty of free parking space. Buzzy Peckham is very close and Central London only a little further. Good, practical and cheap spot!
It was an excellent stay, Michelle and husband were quite hospitable and accommodating. Good food, pleasant reception and the house is close to bus stop for easy transport.
I had a wonderful experience at Michelle and Cooper's home.
They are a lovely couple who are always available to help and give advice.
My bedroom was excellent! I slept wonderfully.
Cooper is a great cook! I love his salads and his very interesting conversations about life.
I really would like to visit them again.
Their neighborhood is very nice and safe.
Thank you very much!!
My cousin and I stayed at Michelle's home and she and her husband were wonderful hosts! They were very welcoming, easy going and helpful in every way. The home is located near public transportation and we had no problems getting where we needed to go. We took the evening meal a couple of times and the food was nutritious and delicious! This was my first homestay experience and it could not have been better. Michelle treated us like family and we really appreciated it.
Very relaxing stay with a welcoming couple close to major transit routes. Easy to get in touch with, comfortable accommodations, make you feel at home. Would recommend this bed-and-breakfast to anyone.
Michelle and Mr Cooper were amazing host going above and beyond to ensure both my husband and I were comfortable and had everything we could possibly want . From the get go, we felt at home and welcomed, with a feeling like we were just visiting close friends we haven't seen in ages and I loved their friendly disposition and will surely be my home away from home in London . The meals were scrumptious and divine ,I must say Mr Cooper is quite a chef and treated us as though we were in a five star establishment in some fancy hotel making our stay most pleasurable . The house is really stunning and spotless and wish I could take them back to mines . The stay was worth every penny and more than what We expected for the price . It was in a very quiet street with free parking on the road and a stones throw away from all amenities ie shops, restaurants, bus and train stations in the heart of everything really . Missing them already Will be back soon.
Me and my sister have been in London for two weeks and we lived with Michelle and her husband in their lovely house, which was very clean and comfortable and they cook very well. Michelle and his husband are wonderful people and I hope to come back there as soon as possible.
Mr and Mrs Cooper are lovely couple. The room is nice and clean. We enjoy our stay and the home cooked dinner specially prepared by Mr Cooper. It was very good! Thank you Mr and Mrs Cooper.
