About the Homestay
Family home near Peckham Rye park
I live in a mid terrace family home with my husband in Zone 2 in London. The centre of London is in Zone 1. There are good transport links.
Our house has 3 bedrooms and a living room with a separate dining room and kitchen. There is a small utility room with a washing machine and downstairs toilet. Our bathroom has a shower and bidet and has recently been refurbished. There is medium sized garden at the back of the house. We live on a quiet road in south east London.
We live near East Dulwich which has a great selection of bars, restaurants and shops. We are also close to cosmopolitan Peckham, which has speciality foods, markets and bars. Recently, some new restaurants and bars have opened in Peckham Rye.

Michelle and Copper were very nice and kind to me and my boyfriend. They helped us every time we needed it. Thank you!!
This guest awarded the host 5 hearts but didn’t leave any comments.
Fantastic stay in a comfy home not far from Central London. Michelle and her husband were warm and friendly with me and were sure to make my experience in London absolutely terrific. Though it was an approximately 40 minutes commute to the city center, I found the morning and evening ride on the tube + overground quite enjoyable. A thought - the listing states that Michelle's home is located in zone 2, so I got an Oyster card with access to only zones 1 and 2. However, all the closest overground stations are in zone 3. What I did was walk about 20 minutes to Brockley station (zone 2) and then took the overground + tube to wherever I was going, so I didn't have to top up my card. Nonetheless, everything was lovely. The room was comfortable and Michelle even prepared me a scrumptious English breakfast on my first day there. Highly, highly recommended! :)
Michelle and her Husband was very Good Host the home is very clean ....i believe back again in future . I really advice very to all members .
Michelle and Cooper were very friendly and a lovely couple to stay with. They welcomed me and my 11 year old son into their home and made us feel welcome. The area is relaxed and peaceful, so if you want a good nights sleep after trekking around London, its perfect. The location itself is further out from central London which I personally didn't find very convenient, although there is regular and easy transportation into London via the buses, if you don't mind a longer journey into town (45 mins to an hour depending on time of day)
Very warm and kind couple. They made us feel right at home, were very welcoming and were available and helpful whenever we had a question.
They're a lovely couple. We enjoyed chatting with them and would highly recommend them.
I'm very happy that I chose this family!!!
It was a lovely stay at Michelle's place. It's clean & had a lovely view from the window. The area is quiet & I had a good night sleep there. It's only a few stops on a bus from her place to the Peckham Rye train station either on the London Overground or National Rail. This makes my travelling to Central London & other parts of London very easy. I would recommend to stay at Michelle's if you are a single traveller & liked nice & quiet place.
Great place to stay and very kind people.
