1 The accommodation
Bedroom
You will have a comfortable double bedroom for a well earned rest and sound sleep following your activity filled days in London. The Rustic Oak laminate flooring provides you with an attractive, clean and comfortable room. The room itself contains: a wardrobe, dressing table, bedside cabinet, copious shelving and bed with large draws thereby providing ample storage space during your stay.
Kitchen
You will have a lovely spacious kitchen, well presented and clean with a laundry room to its rear. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern conveniences including a dish washer, extractor fans and a carbon monoxide meter, ensuring your health and safety are paramount. You will also be provided with generous kitchen cupboard space in addition to that in your room.
Bathroom
You will have use of a cosy, clean bath and toilet. The bathroom comes fully equipped with all necessary amenities including shower and Jacuzzi i.e. water jet bath. You will also be provided with a personal space for your toiletries.
Garden
There is also a small, cosy garden, providing you with additional space for relaxation, particularly in the summer.
Booking your stay at Home from Home will put a range of facilities at your fingertips. You will find yourself perfectly located for convenient access to a range of world class facilities. Sports enthusiasts and general tourists alike will be in very easy reach of London's Olympic Stadium and associated facilities including great shopping and dining locations. The O2 International Arena and ExCel Exhibition Centre are also within close reach for concerts, business expo’s and other major cultural events.
You will also benefit from easy access to London's City Airport. The airport’s efficient and regular light railway service, coupled with our close proximity to London’s underground will have you settling in at Home from Home around 20 minutes after leaving the airport. This means less time with the hassle of travelling with suit cases and more to enjoy London.
Virtually on your doorstep is the famous Queen’s Market - one of the most inexpensive in London. With this asset, the low cost of food will come as a pleasant bonus.
All of the amenities that you would expect to find on a traditional high street are present, including: supermarkets, food, gift and fabric shops, a chemist, hairdressers and even an indoor shopping mall.
The local one pound shops are a special bonus. You can get virtually anything you need i.e. toiletries, travel plugs, snacks, even items of clothing for just that – one pound. This means you can travel light and purchase the things you need locally without overburdening your wallet.
There are also multiple cash points on the high street for access to your money, together with banks if you need to speak to someone ‘face to face’.

About the Area
Our house is situated on the East side of the city, not far from the Olympic park. It is in a safe and quiet area close to amenities and public transport. Trains, buses, shops and the market are just 2 minutes away and the local park is close by.
There is easy access to: London's Olympic Stadium and associated facilities including shopping and dining; The O2 arena for major cultural and sporting events; London's ExCel centre; and London's City airport.

Was a great stay with Rupert. He is a very kind man and good to speak to about everything. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay there, the location was ideal not too far from the City. The house was clean always and Rupert had informed me of how to use everything and directed me to local shops etc. Hopefully see him soon.

Rupert was a a very kind and cool host I stayed with my wife 4days and he helps you in everything you might need and provides valuable information to have the top experience in London and UK ,nice,clean and comfortable rooms . Location real near underground about 20 min from London center
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
