Available for a minimum of two nights only, our nicely decorated and calm accommodation is at the top of the house on the 3rd floor and comprises a large loft bedroom plus a self contained bathroom with a real bath and shower. The loft room has a king size bed and a single sofa bed and is fully furnished with a TV, small fridge microwave and kettle. The main window is south facing with views of the South Downs and Forest Hill church steeple.

About the Area
Our house is located about 10-15 minutes walk from Forest Hill station and centre and and close to shops, supermarkets, banks, gym, swimming pool, bars and restaurants in the centre of Forest Hill as well as buses serving Brixton and Lewisham, Dulwich, Waterloo and central London. Trains from Forest Hill go to London Bridge, Croydon, Crystal Palace and Victoria Stations. There are many excellent restaurants, pubs and cafes locally serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The area is generally safe with a buzzing local nightlife. The famous Horniman Gardens are 15 minutes walk from the house offering a museum, cafe, evening events, and fabulous views over central London as well as a Saturday market. The London Overground easily connects Forest Hill to exciting places in East and North London such as Shoreditch, Hoxton and Whitechapel with markets , art galleries, and restaurants. For a quieter recreation Dulwich Park and Riding Stables are 20 minutes or a 10 minute bus ride away.

House Rules
No smoking within the premises or front garden please, shoes to be removed in the hallway please before going upstairs. If staying out beyond 11pm please advise the host. No washing or drying in the room please- I can do a wash and dry load for £5 each. Alcohol is permitted within reason in the premises but excessive consumption or recreational drugs are not acceptable. Thank you.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
