I live with my son who has just finished University. My other Son is currently at University in Bournemouth so is home in the holidays or once a month for the weekend. One of my sons speaks fluent Mandarin. Its a friendly environment that is sociable. We have a wonderful cat called Max and live right next to a common - it has a rural feel yet its still a London suburb which is 35-40 minutes to London Bridge. There is a variety of transport to choose from, trains and buses to the City centre and West End. Both Streatham High Road and Norbury have vibrant shopping and restaurants.
We we are not far from several large shopping centres, such as Croydon and Bromley with access to many shops. Streatham is a short walk away with shops, restaurants and a leisure centre with swimming pool. As a household we enjoy learning about new cultures and languages. If you want to feel welcome and 'at home' then come and stay with us.

About the Area
Our house is situated in an inner London suburb. We are about 45mins from Gatwick airport. The city is a 30 minute ride on the tube. Buses and trains are a five minute walk away that can take you to any part of the central London or further out. There is a sports centre on Streatham High Road and shopping facilities including a number of supermarkets, cinemas, restaurants. We are also near lovely Crytsl Palcr with its craft markets. Coffe shops and restaurants. West Norwood is 10 minutes away where you can find a bustling high street and retro cinema.

I would totally reccommend staying with Sandra and her amazing family, no words could describe how nice and cool she is!!! The room is lovely and the bed is super comfy, the area is a little far from the city center (though very well connected with the train line!) but it's super lovely, with lots of green spaces and far from the noises of the city. There are also many supermarkets and restaurants close by. Thank you so much Sandra for everything!! <3

Sandra is so kind , if you stay with her she will make you feel as if you were in your own home. I had an excellent experience living with her. I highly recommend this place !
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
