Spacious Twin Room in a Victorian house in Brockley Zone 2 . Situated on one of the nicest streets in the Brockley conservation area in zone 2. Less than 10 minutes walk to Brockley station (for main line & overground services) and less than 15 minutes to St John's. Also 30 mins walk to Greenwich with one of the beautiful Royal park , the observatory , Naval college & maritime museum. If you are not familiar with the area here are some interesting facts. 10 Minutes journey time to London bridge station and from there almost any central London destination is a short hop! Many bus routes (day & night ) and close access to the DLR for Docklands & the City. City airport is approx 20 min's drive. Gatwick, 50 min's by train. Gorgeous parks (with city skyline views) & open spaces within walking distance. Local Farmers market, bars, restaurants & pubs.
You will be sharing with a Family of four with two teenagers and Muffins (cat) . We would like to host the guests who love cat . We are a sociable family and enjoy good food, friends and spending time around the house. We like to keep a clean & tidy house and are very easy going with a broad outlook on life.

Super accueil chambre très agréable, la maison est dans un endroit tranquille proche du métro de Brockley. Petite cuisine à disposition pour nous. Tout était parfait. Nous reviendrons chez Lyly quand nous reviendrons à Londres.

We had a great stay at Lily and Adam's house. The house is close to the tube, so easy to get into London. There is a shared kitchen, bathroom, and toilet which is great and clean ! We thank Lily and Adam for their advice and nice talks knowing more about them and the life in London. We had a big bedroom which was great for 8 nights, and we slept like babies as the beds are super confortable.
Thank you again for this lovely stay, definitely would go back there when I come back to London !June 2024
The stay at Lily’s place was great. We loved the neighborhood: the train station and buses are close and we felt very safe even at night. The family is very kind and the quality of the room, the beds and shower were great! I super recommend it!

Nice spacious place, great area, very welcoming family. With all facilities you need (incl. Small Fridge inside the room, a small kitchen with utilities...), very close to public transport and a great park, where you can relax or do sports. Would be nice to have a foldable table for 2-4, where to eat at times.

Lily is such a nice and welcoming person. The house is so huge and there’s enough space for everyone. Guests have their own kitchen, where they can cook meals. We even had our own tiny fridge in our bright and beautiful room, which was really nice!
It was a very pleasant experience and wouldn’t mind staying with Lily again!

My son and I had a wonderful stay with Lily and her family. A very pleasant house and a very nice room. We will come back to this later. And only 10/15 min by train from London Bridge. It is very pleasant to find yourself in a quiet place in a wooded village after full days in London!
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
