Recently renovated double room in a large Victorian, detached house, situated at the end of a quiet, leafy, cul-de-sac.
Located in the Levenshulme area of Manchester, it is great for the city centre and the universities being just 1 stop on the train or a short bike ride.
Freshly made bread and log fires are frequent features of the house in winter; cake and Pimms in the summer!
The house has a spacious, comfortable living room with 4K TV, surround sound system, digital piano and open fire. Fast fibre wireless and wired internet is also included.
If you enjoy cooking or baking there's a large open plan kitchen and dining room fully equipped with Smeg and Kitchen Aid appliances, a range cooker and a wood burning stove. There's a separate utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and toilet.
The large gardens to the front and rear feature a large decked area with outdoor seating/dining, a BBQ and hammock for enjoying the sun.

About the Area
Levenshulme is a quirky suburb of Manchester, with a very ethnically and culturally diverse community. It is renowned for its antique shops and Irish Pubs.
Levenshulme market is a food haven with 50 artisan traders. It's open every Saturday (between March and December) from 10am to 4pm.
There are a number of supermarkets, pubs, bars and restaurants in the local area as well as plenty of parks and green spaces to enjoy a walk or run outdoors.

House Rules
It's okay to come as go as you please, stay out late, use communal areas, be social or keep to yourself. Just be friendly, considerate and respectful.
There is a very friendly Golden Retriever in the house, Chester. Please only book if you are comfortable around dogs.
Only the number of guests specified on your booking are allowed to stay in the room. For guests staying 2 weeks or more, exceptions can be made to allow occasional overnight visitors. But please check this in advance.
Tea, coffee, milk and breakfast items are included. Kitchen cupboard/fridge storage is provided for your own food.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
