About the Homestay
We live in a cosy home in South Manchester (with our pet Hedgehog!). We're an internationally minded couple, I'm English and my wife is Californian, we've lived and travelled all over the place and love meeting people from different backgrounds. We have one large spare room with a double bed, wardrobe and desk. Downstairs is a living room and an open-plan kitchen / dining space. There's a small garden and BBQ out the back for when it's not chilly or raining!
We're only a 30 second walk from the bus stop where you can catch a direct bus straight into the city centre in only 15 minutes. Buses are frequent coming every 10 minutes or so.
Our house is situated in the south side of the city in a multi cultural safe and friendly suburb. We are only a 15 minute drive from the airport.
The house is located near two large parks - perfect for walkers, runners, and joggers! We have a supermarket at the end of the road and are close to several churches, local shops, restaurants and a post office.
We are ideally located for students with both Manchester Uni and MMU being only a 15-20 minute walk away or 5-10 minute bus ride.
