Stay with Theresa in my home in Manchester. We have 2 double rooms with Closet / Wardrobe, TV, and Mirror. We have lots of varied interests; gardening, sports, nature, reading, socialising, cooking, television, and science.
Theresa is 61 and enjoys cooking, socialising, television, gardening, nature, and science. She speaks English.
Additional Info
The room rate includes the following services: regular room cleaning, washing machine usage, and internet access. Transport to and from airport/train stations will be £20.00 per journey. Additional trips can be arranged at a cost of £20 per journey. We can organise English lessons at an additonal charge.

Our homestay is the perfect location when visiting Manchester and Stockport. The bus route 203 is on the door step. Once you confirm your booking you will get an email with our complete address so you won't have any problems finding us.

House Rules
There is no smoking inside the property - however we have a very pleasant garden if you wish to smoke. There are kitchen facilities if you want to cook but you must provide your own food and clear up after you have eaten. I will provide hot and cold drinks in your room.
Washing facilities are available for your use. Please note we can only make the room available when an inquire comes in, if someone else enquires and then they book that secures the room for them. Please enjoy your stay and treat our house as you would your own home - we are a very friendly family and hope you will enjoy your stay. Sorry we do not accept anyone under 16 and we cannot accept pets.

I really enjoyed my stay, Theresa and Steven welcomed me into their home as though I was one of the family. Nothing was to much trouble, they were helpful in regards to bus services, local attractions, routes to avoid road works ect.I would have no hesitation in recommending them to family or friends looking for accommodation in the Stockport area.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Theresa and her husband where fantastic hosts and incredibly accommodating. The event I went for didn't finish until 5 am and they were incredibly helpful in making my way to and from the event and even made me a packed lunch as opposed to breakfast as I got back so late. Highly recommended.

my son and a friend returned from a weekend in Manchester staying with Teresa and family. Wow what can I say they were made to feel like part of the family and had a lovely time. Teresa was so helpful from recommending places to eat including driving them there. She told them all local bus stops and how to get places. Breakfast was fab and the room was lovely . Had never heard of homestay but was very impressed. Would highly recommend staying with Teresa and family. One more thing I feel as a parent letting teenagers travel by themselves, staying in a family envoironment made me feel feel easier about them going.

Theresa and Steven are a very nice family. They are very helpful und friendly. Their beautiful house is clean and 30 minutes from the centre of Manchester away. Furthermore Steven is an expert in cooking. Thank you for the wonderful two weeks. See you again next year.

I had a very pleasant stay with Theresa and Steven. They were very nice with me and did their best to make me feel at home. They were also very helpful giving me instructions as to where to take the bus and the bus timetable. The room was spacious and had a tv and a desk, and the bed was really comfortable. It's not very far from Manchester city centre as it only takes 30 min on the bus.

They are a very nice family.
The room and the bathroom was clean und well equipped.
Their homer is situated in a great location, just 20 minutes by bus to Manchester city centre.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
