About the Homestay
I live in a modern, spacious three-bedroomed house. There are two double bedrooms and one single. The property presents a driveway to the front and a green space at the rear, which is good for relaxing. The house is secure and safe. It is situated in a quiet area and well presented in a very clean environment. The neighbours are friendly and the environment is kept alive with the laughter of playing children. There is easy access to all local amenities.

About the Area
My house is just 5 minutes drive from the train station. Buses are available every 15 minutes to my home. The area has a Medical Centre, shopping points, a recreational centre, a park for a short stroll and relaxation and also local libraries. The Manchester museum would certainly inspire those who admire works of art and there are lots of green houses around for those who relish nature's beauty. Three minutes drive on either way from my house will take you to one of two cinemas where you can view movies of your choice. Seeing that Manchester is the sports city, if you like bike riding, you would no doubt want to compete in bike riding or just ride for sheer fun. More than that, in clear view just a few hundred metres from my house can be seen the imposing pinnacle of Manchester Climbing Centre, a major attraction for sport lovers. A little further on there is the massive sports stadium where frequent matches are played, including football. It attracts tens of thousands. It once housed the Commonwealth Games. Most recently a brand new sports academy has been built to hone the talents of young aspiring athletes. An overhead bridge-like arch connects the routes that lead to the Sports Complex.

Leslie is like a father to me, i feel good,I loved the way he values me,and I love the way he fathers me
The host was polite but he welcomed us but then it took our money and didn't see him again ! We asked for 2 double rooms ! But when we got there he informed us we had a room with a double bed had put a camp bed in there also and the 4 th person had a single room! ( not what we booked) the whole house needed a good clean it smelt ! I had to clean the bath before taking a shower ! Leslie was very relaxed about our departure time and he put a note under our door to say help ourselves to tea/coffee toast ! Unfortunately the kitchen was so dirty we didn't risk it ! We locked the door and put key through letterbox at Leslie's request ! I would not use this property again under any circumstances !
Very helpful and lovely host I just feel that it needs some cleaning done especially in the bathroom and the kitchen. On the whole it was a pleasant stay. Would like to thank lesley for his hospitality
Leslie, is a very nice man, very considerate, Thank you
Leslie est très Sympathique. Malheureusement le matelas dans la chambre que nous avons eu (il y a deux chambres) est vraiment fatigué. Le ménage laisse par endroit à désirer.
Had a lovely stay with leslie very kind and told us alot about manchster what we needed to know
Fantastic home. Quiet neighbourhood. I was in Manchester 24 nights for a short course. Leslie was so kind to take me down to the course venue on my first night, showing me best bus routes and how to get around town. He lets you use facilities like it were your own house. I enjoyed every bit of my stay with him and would recommend him to anyone visiting Manchester.
We are a couple from Spain and last summer, we spent 18 days at Leslie´s home. Leslie was friendly and thoughtful from the very beginning. He explained us how the bus system works and he accompanied us to the nearest supermarket. In spite of this, and much to our regret, we must say that the house cleaning should be significantly improved for future guests, especially the cleaning of the kitchen and the bathrooms.
Staying with Leslie gave us a truly memorable experience that will not be forgotten. My wife and I felt totally at home, his kindness and assistance of local knowledge and connections left us with a feeling of belonging to his community. Recomended.
stayed for just one evening and Leslie could not have been friendlier or more welcoming. Near enough the centre to walk once you have found your bearings. affordable and convenient.
