I live with my 10-year old son on a quiet street in Chorlton, Manchester. Chorlton has many bars, cafes and restaurants and is also on a tram route into city centre, to railway stations and Manchester airport.
We are near Old Trafford football ground (home to Manchester Utd) (20 minutes by tram) and many museums/art galleries.
Manchester is a superb location for a city break. It also provides easy access to some of the best countryside in the UK with the Peak District only 1 hour by train & Snowdonia and the Lake District around 1.5 hours.
There are 3 bedrooms in total with one available for home-stayers with a double bed and optional further single. z-bed.
We have a kitchen-diner and living room and family bathroom. There are a small yard which is pleasant to sit out in.
We are keen to met people from around the world and welcome them into our home.

About the Area
Our house is in a suburb of Manchester on the south west of the city centre. Chorlton has plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants to try out as well as many independent and specialist shops.
The house is 2 minutes away from buses into town. The closest tram stop is a similar distance with trams to town centre (30 minutes), train stations (30 minutes) the airport (40 minutes) and elsewhere across Greater Manchester. The airport is a 15 minute drive away and the journey will cost around £10-15 by taxi.
We are close to many attractions including Manchester United Football Club group (15 minutes by tram), museums, art galleries and more.
Manchester is also ideally located for trips to countryside including the Peak District (1 hour by train/car), North wales/ Snowdonia (1.5 hour by train/car).

Abbie is friendly, accommodating and has good local knowledge. Room is spacious, clean & tidy. House is ideally situated for easy access to Manchester city centre, public transport within short walk distance. I would recommend this home stay.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
