we live in a very large house close to bus, metro and motorway networks. Also close to a beautiful park (Heaton Park). All rooms are larger than normal rooms. Prestwich village is a short walk away with an abundance of bars and restaurants. Manchester centre is easily accessible by car, bus or tram.

Ruth provided a wonderfully private and peaceful refuge in Prestwich. Just a short walk from the tramline making Manchester city centre easily accessible. A large house with tea and coffee always available, as well as toast in the morning. Ruth was extremely understanding and flexible as my plans seemed to change by the hour. A perfect place to get my new home sorted from...wish I had found her sooner.
Ruth is a very helpful and friendly host. I stayed in her house for 3 weeks. Nice big and bright house with big and comfortable rooms. Huge dining area for everyone's use. Very good location with 5 minutes walk to tram station. I would recommend her accomodation without hesitation. I might return one day... :-)
This was a truly amazing homestay. Ruth is very helpful and funny. The very clean and extremely large with public transport links close by, giving you easy access to the town centre. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone to stay.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
