We live in a quite leafy suburb 3km south of city centre, 10/15 min bus ride to centre/university/etc. Lovely room with own bathroom. desk. wardrobe. Free internet/wifi at all times.
Nice kitchen with all facilities including laundry, living room, gardens to front and rear.
We've been hosting students from all over the world for over 8 years and we thoroughly enjoy the experience.

About the Area
Our house is located in a quite leafy suburb 3km south of the city centre. The airport is 15 minute drive away. The bus stop to city centre is on 2/3 minutes walk from the house. There is also a Tram service to city centre and to airport approximately 15 minutes walk away.
This part of town is very popular because of it's multitude of trendy bars, cafes and restaurants.
City centre is a 10/15 minute bus ride away. Manchester has great shopping facilities, Museums, Theatres, bars, restaurants etc..

The place is nice to stay but do not expect to learn English language if you are a student.

I spent a lovely week at Yusef and Afsha' house.
they hosted me very friendly and were very kind. They gave me advice about my visits and took time to have conversations together even if they were busy. My room was very clean and comfortable. The house is located just five minutes from a bus stop so it's easy to go to the town centre. I strongly recommend it.Host reply

Very very good experience! I really appreciated every moment spent there. Yusef, his wife and daughter are very kind, so nice, helpful, user-friendly and very sociable people. If I could, I would do this experience again in the same family without hesitation. Moreover, the comfort of the room, the kindness of the cats and the quiet of the neighborhood are ideal to live perfectly. I would like to tell them thank you for everything and I hope to see you soon! :)

I had a very pleasant stay with the family. It is a quite and clean area, the family is very helpful, caretaking and easy to get along with. I felt very homy and comfortable. Shops around are not really in walking distance but busstops are nearby in all directions so it is in a good location as well. Afsha is very experienced host and open minded. I highly recommend it.

I would say that Yusef is one of the best hosts I've ever lived with. He has excellent taste and the room was in fantastic condition with a nice reading table and shower just the way I like it. He was also very kind to me and very homely..He's a person of class as such rhe apartment was classy and spotless .I would recommend him a million times if I have to.

It was my first experience and I'm happy that I decided live there. Regarding to price it wasn't expensive for this cozy,quiet and save location. Yusef with Afsha and their daughter Alcia are so kind and friendly. I liked talk with. Also they help to me improve English. It was a nice experience and I can say that they are now my friends. How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
