About the Homestay
I live in my home with my two daughters and grandson who are living here temporarily. We are a very friendly family and have been welcoming visitors to our home for years. I also have two sons who live in separate parts of London. We have all transport and amenities as we live in the town centre. There is a small garden which needs tlc but have to wait until spring to attend to it. We live in a cul de sac with parking.

About the Area
Our house is located in South London and we are approximately 45 minutes from Central London by train which is the tourist area. The bus stops are two minutes from the house. The nearest train stations are Mitcham Junction, Tooting Broadway which are both 15 -30 minutes away by bus in opposite direction. Mitcham East fields station you can walk to which is about 10-15 minutes. We are surrounded by other boroughs which are Croydon, Sutton, Wimbledon, Wandsworth, Streatham and Brixton. Buses to all these boroughs operate right across the road from here. They all have shopping centres for food, footwear, clothing etc. There's lots of entertainment in all these areas also. As I live in the town centre we have the local shops ie KFC, Fish and Chips shop, Cafés, pharmacies, Grocery stores, clothes store, newsagents, market and many more. We have quite a few pubs restaurants and even a library.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
