Susan and Ian have been hosting Students for many years and enjoy learning about the cultures in way the people live including their values.
Susan is a Qualified Teacher and currently supports students in accessing Colleges and Universities in Manchester.

I have a daughter who is 19 years and studies at college.
As a Family we encourage students to learn English and help them with their studies whilst preparing to take exams.
Although students pay for there studies in the UK, as a family we offer to teach students English at no charge at all whilst staying in our home.
Therefore students receive extra support with English along with studying at college. Our reputation in supporting students is paramount to us as a family and we want what is best for the students or visitors. Students who have stayed in our family home, have always past on our contact details which says how much they have enjoyed their studies and the experience of staying in our home.
We have supported many students from various countries such as Saudi Arabia, Spain, Germany, Israel, Dubai, Libya Kwait, Oman and many others.
We buy Halal food and will accommodate any dietary needs. We also cook Arabic meals and are happy to accommodate students through Ramadan.
Its important that all students choose the right College or University for learning along with having a comfortable stay in a family home. As a family, we our very passionate about this.

At weekends, as a family, we have trips out to encourage students to have a nice experience of the UK. This encourages students to speak to more British people and is a good way to prepare for English exams.
As a Family, we encourage students have their own independence with no restrictions. We want students to really enjoy themselves in the UK but will encourage English speaking in the family home.
The family home is modern with 2 rooms available.
If students are sharing a room, the cost including meals will be 400 per calendar month. If requiring own room, the cost is £120 per week which includes meals.
The family home is very clean and close to train station which is only a 5 minute walk. The train is only 3 stops into the City of Manchester.
Susan and Ian offer support to students that accommodates all their needs. There are no pets in the family home.
The home contains 3 bathrooms, 1 living area, 1 dining area and 3 three bedrooms. All Bedrooms have wardrobes and draws for storage. Free internet use and free washing. sky available. We do not charge for internet and washing clothes. Mossley is 15 minutes into Manchester and its a beautiful area and situation in front of the house is Tame river. Lots of sight seeing views, local bars and clubs near by, lots of eating places, local post office, doctors and hospital.

Our house is only 20 minutes away from the centre of Manchester. The Train station is a 5 minute walk from the house. There a local busses to catch and plenty to see in the area

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
