Close Hillisde train station with regular trains into Liverpool & Southport (every 15 Mins). Traveling time to Liverpool is 40mins and Southport 10mins. Ideal stop for supporters going to Liverpool & Everton matches.
We also have a double sofa bed in a living room which can be made available by prior arrangement, the double room and the sofa would share a bathroom.
We have 2 micropubs, a bar/eatery, an award winning chippy & a sandwich shop with 2 minute walk from the house.
We are a friendly couple who love meeting people.

We are just a 10minute walk from Royal Birkdale Golf Club, a five minute walk from Hillside Train Station.
Our house is a minutes from three micropubs and a one train stop from Birkdale village, two stops from Southport and a 35-40 minute train into Liverpool city centre. A great location for exploring, Southport Flower Show, & Liverpool & Everton Football matches

Rachel and Dave were great to stay with - extremely welcoming and relaxed. The room and bathroom were just the ticket whilst I was working in the area for a few days. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a home from home stay.
Rachel and Dave were very welcoming and friendly without being intrusive. The room and bed were comfortable, with own bathroom almost ensuite! They were happy for us to do some simple cooking and flexible about our coming and going. Couldn't ask for better.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
