About the Homestay
4 Bedroom Detached House in lovely quiet Village near Walsall West Midlands, Double Rooms, own Television Spacious too. Frequently hosting for Colleges etc. "International and UK." as a "Host Mum" like meeting people, helping where I can, informative and also meeting multi-cultural people, "People Friendly" Lady young in nature, 1 cat lives by a lovely large open spacious Common Canal Walks, etc. Everybody Welcome. I also have 1 small dog who lives with me.
I offer 2-course evening meals at a rate of 4.50 per person per night.
Payment Method: Please note that we require our guests to pay 50% of the booking total to us in advance of the booking to hold your room (on top of the 15% service fee is paid to Homestay.com)
Cancellation Policy: Any cancellation will not be refunded.
From Walsall West Midlands, access via Buses, Train Station (Walsall) also taxi if needed around 15/20 mins accessible, Birmingham Airport is about 45 mins - 1 hour away travelling by train, Buses or similar.

About the Area
My home is in a village about 25 minutes from Walsall Town Centre, in close proximity travelling distances to ALL Local Colleges and Universities, Wolverhampton Birmingham etc. but is quiet, located on the edge of a Nature Reserve, ideal for studying etc. Buses are frequent into Walsall and Wolverhampton, then easy access to Railway Services, to Birmingham, Wolverhampton and surrounding Towns.

Generally Polite and Respectful, "Treated fairly" I do the same in return. Taking Care of Property and keeping in touch so I can be made aware that everything is ok. Like to think my own Grandsons would be cared for in the same way, safety etc. if they were travelling too. Home secure alarm etc. so Property is covered.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at April's. The house is lovely with light, clean and pleasant rooms. (And good wifi.) There's a hearty full English breakfast with options for toast, fruit and cereal. Snacks and hot drinks are available throughout the day and an evening meal, if you need one! The house is in Pelsall which is itself a lovely area, having plenty of local amenities including pubs, restaurants and shops. There's a common literally across the road offering access to the countryside and rural canals. Walsall and Brownhills are both close by. Busses are frequent. I regularly walked to both places along the McClean Way. (This is a great base for walking and cycling.)
April is an extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming hostess. She is very flexible regarding meals and the times they are served, which can be extremely useful. She is happy to take care of laundry, etc. She is a fund of local knowledge. Most of all, she wants you to enjoy your stay and make the most your time there. Very highly recommended.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
