My home is situated on a nice close very near to Manchester Airport, the ideal place to stay the night before a flight. Manchester city centre is also very easily accessible from the house. The double room is clean, spacious and modern. Shared use of the bathroom/kithen/living room and garden.

About the Area

The house is situated in Wythenshawe, an area south of Manchester, very close to Manchester Airport (only 5 min taxi or 20 min walk) and the city centre is easily accessible. There is a bus stop a very short distance from mine with very regular services to both the airport and city. There is a corner shop/take aways very close, and within a 15 minute walk you can be at Wythenshawe shops where there is a wide range of shops, cafes etc. There is a tram stop down at the shops. At the airport you can also take a train into the city at regular intervals.

House Rules

Any damage/breakages must be paid for ASAP. From a security point of view in the event of a lost key it would be necessary to pay for a lock change. Please ensure all doors are locked / windows closed if going out.
Please remove shoes when inside.
Clean as you go, ensure hand basin/bath rinsed after use. All pots / utensils used must be cleaned and kitchen surfaces wiped after use.
Please be respectful, no loud music etc. The house is on a nice quiet estate.
Switch off all electrical devices when not in use and overnight
Windows and doors must be locked if going out.
If you smoke please ensure you do so in the back garden.

Smoking is not allowed.

    It felt just like staying at my own house. Matthew was very nice, considerable and kind. I would highly recommend my friends to stay there during their visits to Manchester.

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.

When can I share my contact details?

Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
