I live in Hyde Park, (BOSTON) MA in a single-family home with my miniature black poodle. All the bedrooms and main bathroom are upstairs. Downstairs, I have a comfortable living room with a fireplace, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and a half-bathroom which opens to the deck and backyard. My husband served in the US army for over 24 years and we moved around a bit including several tours in Europe where my sons were born. We have lived in Hyde Park for over twenty years and I am retired from Trust banking. PUBLIC TRANSPORT is the best way to move around Boston. It takes 5-minute to walk to Bus 32 which takes 10 minutes to Forest Hills Station where you can take Orange Line to the Downtown Crossing area and beyond. If Public Transport is not your thing, or you need a car to visit other parts of New England, one of my sons has his own car rental business. I prefer renting to women and I have room for a maximum of 4 people preferably women or a mature couple.

About the Area
Our house is located on Greenwood Avenue, a one-way street running off Hyde Park Avenue. We have easy access to the Orange line (Forest Hills Station) via Bus 32. The Bus stop is down the street at the corner of Hyde Park Avenue and Greenwood Avenue, less than 5 minutes from our house.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
