We really enjoyed our stay with Sharon who is so welcoming and accommodating. She took us at very short notice with our two children and was very warm and helpful. It’s a wonderful house in a vibrant area. We would definitely recommend it to anyone and stay again if back in New York.

Sharon welcomed us warmly and was available for any questions throughout our stay. We enjoyed the big room, private bathroom and cozy bed. In the room we had a big fridge, table and 2 chairs, so that we could also have snacks and prepared our trips to NYC. A bus stop is near by. We enjoyed a great stay. Thanks!

It was lovely the meet Sharon and share a meal with her at the famous Wo Hop restaurant in China town. Our room was spacious and although it was nice to have a welcoming bowl of fresh fruit in our room on arrival, I have come to expect the light breakfast offered by Homestay and indicated on Sharon's description. This was not forthcoming. As an asthma sufferer I found the room and entry staircase dusty. I would also have liked some specific directions on how to get to Sharon's address in Fort Greene before we arrived. It is very simple when you know! All the best Sharon, I hope you enjoy the Australian wine in the coming holiday season.

Homestay Host Family Sharon in ,

Judy, I am rather disappointed with your review. First of all, you were already in New York when you arrived, and you researched the address on your own and you stated you knew the train station.

Secondly, I upgraded your room which included an ensuite and refrigerator which was self -contained. You a bowl of fruit, which was given so you can have a light breakfast. To be honest, my breakfast schedule was posted and you did not request tea until day 3 or 4 into your stay, because, you woke up late.

I must point out that your bedroom window was left open during your stay an obviously there will be slight dust particles coming in the room. My issue is why didn't you mention anything while you were at the house? Why not give me an opportunity to address those concerns?

I enjoy hosting, I would rather a guest be transparent about everything. With that said, I wish you all the best Judy! I will continue to be the best host, now and forevermore. Take care!
