We are a warm loving family from London, England. We Look forward to hosting, it is second nature to us! The bedroom is large king size bedroom with a full-size bed. Lots of space to move around and relax. The bedroom faces the front of the house, so there is ample amount of light.
We reside on a very nice block, centered in the block is a Catholic church, we are surrounded by private homes and condominiums.
Transporation:
The house is within walking distance of the train station, the bus stops and we a centrally located by both the Manhattan bridge and the Brooklyn Bridge. Lastly, on the corner of the block, there is a City Bike stand; this is a shared rental bike program, also Uber and Lyftcab service are available.
Where I live in Brooklyn is accessible by 13 subway lines (A, B, C, D, F, G, N, Q, R, 2, 3, 4, and 5) that stop within ten blocks of the location.
The C train stops within two blocks at Clinton/Washington.
The B38, B69, B52, B57, and the B62 bus lines also stop a few blocks from the location. Timed - From the house to New York City: It is approximately 10 mins by car & 35 Minutes if you walk over the Manhattan Bridge.
Eateries
The neighborhood is very trendy; there are an eclectic array of restaurants, deli's, and pubs (which serve food). Two Blocks from the house there are fantastic restaurants, that can fulfill and delight any appetite; Chipotle, Indian cuisine, Chinese cuisine, Middle Eastern cuisine, Mexican cuisine, Jamaican cuisine, South African cuisine, American Cuisine, just to name a few!

Our house is located on a quiet block with both private homes and apartments. One block from public transportation and two blocks from shopping and all the restaurants known within the Fort Greene haven. Very trendy area within walking distance to both the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan bridge.

Cancellation Fees will be charged accordingly. 14 days, cancellation policy, guest entitled to a full refund. After 14 days, no refund will be applied. Guest must pay for their stay even if they cancel.
Respect others ... please note: the balance must be paid on arrival United States currency = $ cash.
Please use slippers when walking through the house. No shoes allowed!!!
There is a cleaning fee of $40.00 upon arrival for each room. For long-term guests please be advised that you are responsible for cleaning your room and washing the linens, towels, etc. on a weekly basis. Remember this your home away from home!
***Tea and Coffee and light refreshments will be available for guests up until 8 a.m. for short-term term guests only, YOU MUST SERVE YOURSELF***
Check in time - after 2 pm.
Check out time - by 12 noon.
Other arrangements can be made providing the terms are discussed between both parties.
Long- term guests 14 days or more are required to leave a prepayment
security deposit of $200 commencing 5/15/2017. Once the guest has completed their stay the prepayment security deposit will be fully refunded providing the room is left clean and there is no damage or any loss in the house.

We had the best experience at Sharon's home!!! Everything is as described. The zone is fantastic. The room and bathroom surprisingly big and comfortable. Great natural light and air. Quiet day and night. The kitchen was perfect and very useful. Hot water worked like a charm. Not one negative thing to say. Sharon was very helpful. Can't wait to go again.

Sharon is a warm caring person.
We had a lovely stay at Sharon's home. It gave us chance to travel like a local and visit areas off the normal tourist routes and easy access to the main hot spots.
Room was excellent size and great bathroom facilities. Use of kitchen where we could make meals and drinks.
We hope to stay again one day.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
