About the Homestay

If you're looking for a safe, clean, artsy and peaceful place look no farther. My apartment located in the midst of Clinton Hill its centrally located to parks and public transportation, I live 15mins from lower Manhattan.
A little about me, I am a fashion stylist and Vintage Reseller. So, during the week, I work from home, if I am not running around styling clients. I am working from home generally, I will be having a fashion shoots for my vintage shop, my shoots take place within the livingroom space partly a studio during the week day and at night its a place you can chill and relax, I also have my bedroom space located within the studio. The only private room, will be yours. You will be sharing this beautiful artsy space with me and my little cat Esty.
Somethings I enjoy doing includes, cooking, Politically involved in activism, actively involve with sustainable organizations within NYC, apart of a board that gives fundinding to non-profit organizations within central Brooklyn, listening to old records, spending time at the beach, shopping at farmers markets, mediating in the park and practicing a lot of self-care.
Note: Because I work from home and my space is tiny, I can only host students that are working outside of home or taking classes outside of the apartment or someone who is relocating to the city because of work and need a place until they find a permanent apartment.
Also, I do require half of the deposit once the booking is complete and the other half once you arrive, that should be paid via PayPal.

About the Area
The apartment is a 15min commute into lower Manhattan. The bus and train are all located on the same block as apartment. There is also citibikes for rental in front of the apartment. You will have multiple parks to spend your weekends in, they are within a mile from the apartment. You will also be centrally located to shopping centers, restaurants, bars, coffee shops and bakeries.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

Deposit 1 week before arrival via Bank Transfer, VENMO or Paypal.
You have 7 days before arrival to cancel and receive a full refund.

Overall just be respectful of the space and the apartment building, its really a quite and peaceful place

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
