House is located in the Flatlands section of Brooklyn, New York. We live in a two family brick house 3/3 bedroom house with a garden and backyard. My home is close to several bus stations, which can be taken to any of the major subway lines. My home is occupied by my twin son and daughter, my sister-in-law and her cousin. The bedroom that is available is on the ground floor. It fits a twin/full size bed with a dresser. There is a large kitchen with updated appliances. There are cups, pots, utensils and plates available for usage. We are about 3-5 miles from the nearest Train station and a block away from the B6,7,46, and B103 busses. Unfortunately we only speak English at home but are very welcoming to all language speakers.

Our house is located in the Flatlands area of Brooklyn. We are one block from the B6,B7,B46, and B103 Bus stops. We are approximately 3.2 miles from prospect park, 1.4 miles from Brooklyn College, 2.3 miles to king's theater, 47 minutes (17.3 miles) from New Yok City (Manhattan). We are also 1.5 miles from the nearest hospital, 7 minutes away. And 0.9 miles from the nearest shopping center

House Rules
We are a quite respectable family. We do not want anyone in our home other that the agreed upon guest. My family's safety is my number 1 concern. I do expect payment upfront. It can be in the form of cash or Zelle , or cash app, or PayPal. Please understand that you will be in a shared space and it is important that we are empathetic to each other's needs. We are also a non-smoking residence.

staying with Des and her family was one of the most lovely stays in NYC. Des and her family are so nice and kind. Her house is very clean and renovated and the room is very cozy and clean. I feel sad that I had to leave her place but sure I will come back again!. and most important thing that the neighborhood is safe as well as the house. Thank you Des for making me have this nice memories and sure will see you again! <3.

My stay with Desrene was the best homestay experience I have ever had. The apartment was impeccably clean and abundantly stocked with linens and sundries. Desrene is a wonderful, caring, attentive, helpful and extremely friendly host. Communication was very quick, precise and effective. Even on the first day, when I arrived so late from the airport - namely in the middle of the night - she was so kind to open the door and welcome me. Her house is very nice. The apartment is also beautiful, practically furnished, comfortable and very clean. Everything you need is immediately available. The house and the neighborhood are located in beautiful and charming Brooklyn. From the house it is very easy to go to Manhattan: because Brooklyn is very well connected to Manhattan. From the house it is only 5 minutes drive - or 15 minutes walk - to the subway. There are 2 subways that connect Brooklyn or Flatland in Brooklyn with Manhattan. There are also several bus lines. How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
