Come stay w/ an artist in her apartment & enjoy this spacious, quiet, stylish, sunny private room w/ private 1/2 bathroom suite. The room has a queen bed, nightstands, a desk, lamps, art books and a large closet. Shared full bathroom with a marble shower and in unit washer/dryer guests are welcome to use. Shared open floor plan living space including a dishwasher. Located at the southwest corner of historic Prospect Park and a short train ride or bike ride to Coney Island. Easy access to Manhattan and all the city has to offer!

About the Area
Kensington is a wonderful neighborhood balanced with traditional NYC life of bars, markets and bodegas while also being one of the most diverse neighborhoods in NYC just a 10min walk from Prospect Park. 10min walk to the Church Avenue F&G trains, 12min walk to either Church Q&B or Beverly Q Stations. 1 block to the express buses BM3 & BM4 which take you to financial district in 15minutes and then continues it's route up Madison Ave to Central Park. The apartment is on Ocean Parkway which true to it's name connects Coney Island Ocean to Prospect Park. There is a citi bike hub out front and you can bike the greenway to the beach or the park easily! Prospect Park is just a short walk away and Coney is further, but a wonderful biking experience.

Quite Hours 11pm - 8am. Guests can come and go as they please, I just ask things not be too loud during these hours for respect to my neighbors.
Payments: 50% deposit required to secure dates. Zelle, Paypal or Venmo. For foreign guests, Revolut can be used. The remaining booking total must be made upon the first day of check in.
Cancellation Policy: If cancellation is less than a week from the booked dates, then full deposit is kept. If cancellation is more than a week away from the booked dates, full deposit will be returned.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
