Nick and I live in a Large Victorian Style House. We have been hosting for many years now and enjoy meeting and learning from people of various cultures. We enjoy trying new food....especially spicy food, sports, and movies.

About the Area
The Cypress Hills section of Brooklyn is located only 40 minutes from Manhattan. There is a park nearby, fitness clubs, shops and a variety of restaurants. The nearest train is the J line and is located 3 blocks from the house.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals will incur an additional cost. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

Check-in is after 3pm.
Check-out is 11am.
All guests are free to use the kitchen but please clean up after. After using the bathroom, please be considerate of the next person.... keep it clean. No food in the bedrooms. No smoking inside the house; however smoking is permitted on the porch.
Payment Method: Please note that we require our guests to pay 50% of the booking total to us in advance of the booking to hold your room (on top of the 15% deposit is paid to Homestay.com) We accept paypal, a link with the amount will be sent after booking and the balance will be due upon arrival.
Cancellation Policy: We ask our guests to give us at least 5 days’ notice for any cancellation. Any cancellation later than this will not be refunded.
No smoking in the house or rooms.
No food in the rooms, you have a kitchen available for use.
No guests who are not included in your reservation.
Host reserves the right to enter the guest room if we believe an infraction has occurred whether the guest is present or not.
Smoking is allowed outdoors only.

Heather is very nice and friendly person. The place is comfortable to stay. I highly recommend.
Heather ci ha accolti con gentilezza nonostante fossimo arrivati in tarda serata in casa sua. Siamo stati 6 notti in una bella camera spaziosa e pulita. La casa è vicina ad una stazione della metro da dove si può raggiungere Manhattan. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Nice and clean place, friendly people, good place in Brooklin
Would not recommend. The room i had booked had been double booked so we were moved into another room with a fold out futon as a bed. Owner expected us to cook for her and her husband and, out of guilt, we did one evening and they didn't show up until an hour and a half after the agreed upon time. Bunch of passive aggressive texts and general rudeness.
Only positive point was the adorable dogs which the owners allowed us to walk.
Friendly host, a big and clean room, separated own kitchen for guests, next subway station less than 10 min to walk, this stay is warmly recommanded.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
