Best prices$$ in Brooklyn!! The area is affordable. I'm close to everything. A short ride to the city, food, shopping and transportation are close with various options. The area is safe and quiet. Check in is from 7pm to 10 pm check out is 2pm. Times are flexible most weekdays and on weekends if no other guest have to check out. Payment is due on arrival.
My home is a quiet single family home in community oriented family friendly block. 5 bedroom 2.5 bathroom home in Flatlands /Glenwood area of Brooklyn. 15 Minutes away from local shopping. 35-40 minutes to the city. (Lower Manhattan). One hour from mid Manhattan. Average time from anywhere in city.
One room has a separate semi private entrance, in a basement apartment 8ft high ceilings, 10*9ft shared kitchen and bath with one other. One room with a queen size bed , closet and dresser available. The second room is a bit smaller 9*8 with larger windows. Both have double beds.
I'm a mother of two. I also have a multi-poo , she will not be in your living area. I'm sorry I can not accommodate guests with pets. Interns and students welcome. Please have your profile picture up for identification.

About the Area
Our home is a 30 minute drive from either JFK or LaGuardia airport (45$) It’s about 45 minutes away from the city via public transportation. 30 minutes from down town Brooklyn via Metro where you would find Brooklyn's Barclays center. The train station is 7 minutes away via bus . Any family fun , dining, entertainment is no more than 5 minutes away.

Check in is 7pm to 10 pm weekdays. Call for flexibility. Checkout is by 2pm. Please be mindful of other guests. Do not eat
Or drink anything other than water in rooms as it may be carpeted. No smoking indoors, you may do so in the back yard with ash tray. DO NOT DISCARD CIGARETTES on property. I cannot accept mail for you. Keep noise to a minimum in and outside of home. Be mindful of electric and water use please don’t leave lights on in rooms that aren’t in use. Tidy up after yourself upon your exit using bags and garbage provided. In order to book room please give at least a week advanced notice. Feel free to ask me anything!
* Please note that a security deposit of $125 is requested which will be returned after the checkout.

Slada is an attentive, thoughtful, and engaging hostess.
My room has 5G WiFi, a comfortable queen-size bed, a full dresser and a full size wardrobe. There is access to a fully equipped kitchen for guests only as well as a bathroom with a full sized bathtub and shower for guest use.
A NYC Transit bus stop is 1/2 block away; the subway is a 5-minute bus ride or a 15-20 minute walk away. A supermarket is within walking distance, and a Target superstore is a block from the subway.

She and her family are very nice and kind hosts. I could spend a week's trip to New York comfortably. The neighborhood is very safe, beautiful city. I had trouble on the first day, but Michelle accepted me pleasantly. Thank you very much. I will definitely go to New York again. I hope to see you again. Thank you for a lovely souvenir！

We had a fantastic stay at Slada place! What a lovely people! They gave us a lot of tips and ideas whenever we need something. We were absolutely amazed at their generosity.
The place is spotless with a semi-private entrance which gives you the privacy.
Located in a safe area of Brooklyn. Very close to the bus which will take you to the metro station (the station is surrounded by the shops, restaurants – you will be nicely surprised how the prices differ from Manhattan area). 100% recommended!December 2017
The stay was very good. It is a very good value for New York. This place is perfect for those who want to discover another side of the city. Slada and her daughters are really nice. Slada, thank you again for everything and thank you to your daughter for the clothes !

It was a good stay for me.The bed was comfortable. You are separated from your host and dont have to worry about your host gerting in your way with your own entrance and privacy. Slada was very friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient to catching the bus which is less than a minute walk.

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries).
