It's a beautiful home in a great location. The kitchen is newly remodeled and is spacious. The bathrooms are also updated. I have hardwood floors. It's a safe area. I have cameras at the front and back door for added security.
A 25% deposit will be required prior to arrival.

About the Area
This is a great area to live in. It is close to the Metra and CTA, two express ways, walking distance to stores, restaurants and bank. It is also close to the forest preserve. The forest is It's beautiful with great bike and walk paths.

Remove your shoes by the door
Clean up after yourself.
Kitchen is closed after 9 p.m.
After showering clean the shower.
Spray and scrub the tub after every use.
Used tissue goes in the toilet.
If you break something pay to fix or place the item.
Clean your room once a week.
When not is use, unplug electronics and turn off the lights.

Amelia has been extremely hospitable and kind enough to let me stay in her basement at such an affordable rate. If you are new to the Chicago area or trying to get on your feet, Amelia has everything you need and the basement is newly remodeled and fully furnished. You will not regret staying with her!

I don’t know where to start, but Amelia has been one of the best people I have stayed with. Her home is amazing, she’s amazing. My favorite part is she keeps her home clean and she makes sure you feel at home. She went above and beyond by showing me all the most important places, transit and giving me recommendations on things I could do since it was my first time in Chicago. She guided me in every possible way and during my two months stay I never had any issue at all. I have enjoyed my stay and also learned a lot from her. If you’re thinking of her home as your next home, it’s definitely the right choice to make. I literally saw her as my mother. So, thank you Amelia and I look forward to staying with you more in the future

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
