Our home is 9.7 ml away from central Chicago in the Hyde Park/Bronzville area. Our interests range from painting to fashion design. We have 1 Single available with Air Conditioning, TV, Desk and Lamp, Fridge, and Closet / Wardrobe. We also offer luxury driver service anywhere in the Chicago area. Ask us about the details, you never need to take a bus, train or cab we believe in catering to our guest!
Ronald is married to Talya and we enjoys sports, music, gigs, festivals, painting, reading, learning foreign languages, socialising, television, gardening, nature, board games, science, theatre, and opera. He speaks English
Reonna our daughter is 21. She speaks English and enjoys cooking, board games, and fashion design

Additional Info
There is no better way to learn a foreign language than to speak it in everyday situations. Your host Ronald offers qualified language instruction in his native language English. One hour of instruction costs 20.00 USD. The classes will be given by the family member at the accommodation.

About the Area
I and my wife welcome you to Chicago and our home. Our house is a great location if you want to stay in Hyde Park/Bronzville. Don't worry as soon as you complete your booking and pay your deposit online you will get an email with our exact address.
Meals

About Location: It is near the 47th station, the green line. Not far from the Loop.
Owners of the house: the owner is on vacation. I did not meet him. His mother is very nice and helps in whatever she can. A very friendly and lovely lady. But she was not in the house.
About the house: old, in need of maintenance, organization and cleaning! The room is large. But the wood floor is old, damaged, with accumulation of dirt and insects. The shower of the banhero did not work. I took a cold shower every day (I complained but there was no solution) There was no replacement of toilet paper. The first day is over! The bathroom drain was clogged. The discharge eventually did not work. And the door will not lock! The kitchen and bathroom were very dirty and in need of a real facelift.
The price is great !! It was the best I found in Chicago ... I arranged to stay 25 days. With 3 days I gave up. Aside from being far from the places I needed to go, the cleanliness and condition of the house made me give up. I do not recommend.August 2017
I felt like I was part of the family. The place is perfect nice,clean,quiet. The area has great transportation and stores.

I had a wonderful stay at Ronald's house, he makes sure his guests have a good time.The house has a very good location , it is close to the cta train and bus stations,getting to downtown is very easy.the locality is safe.

I've had a really good stay at Ronald's ! He does make sure that you feel at home at all time, cooks really well with fresh products. The other guests were friendly, I think that if everybody works towards the same purpose of making others feel at home, you'll have a marvelous experience.

If you are looking for a place to stay at Chicago with reasonable price, I will strongly recommend Ron's house. I stayed there for 20 days, and I would say he was the best host I've ever met before. He's humorous and takes care of new visitors at Chicago. In addition, he makes dinner for people everyday and it's so delicious!
The house is very spacious, and the location is not bad; 10 minutes from cta station on foot and about 25 minutes from downtown by cta. Short-term and long-term visitors are living together, but each person may have his/her own private room. His three-story house is not fancy, but I'm sure you can enjoy your trip there. If you want to make special memories at Chicago, do not hesitate to contact Ron!

Staying at Ron’s house is a great option for people who are looking for a place to stay in Chicago, doesn’t matter for short or longer time. Ron takes care of his guests in the best possible way - offering the transfer from and to the airport, showing the way from his house to your work/school when you go there for the first time and cooking a great dinner for all every day (that are only some examples).
Very good localization - the house is placed close to the train station and few train stops from the downtown.
Thanks to all the guests and the owners attitude, you can feel as a part of the group from the first minutes in the house. All of them are friendly and helpful.
The house is nice and spacious, great to spend the time relaxing after a hard day or working/studying.February 2016

Ron was a great host, besides his food is delicious! I had a really good time in Chicago, also thanks to the other students in the house. Better if you take a taxi when you first go there but it's a good place, 30 min walking from U of Chicago. The best quality/price. I'll come back for sure
How do I book?

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
