Do you love cooking and music, gigs, festivals? So do we and I'd love to welcome you into our home. I have 3 Singles and 1 Double room(s) available for homestay guests with Hair-dryer, Closet / Wardrobe, Fridge, Desk and Lamp, TV, Mirror, and Radio.
We are a family of Five and all stay in the same household:
Mark is 30. He speaks English and enjoys socialising, cooking, and music, gigs, festivals
Evangeline is 28. She speaks English and enjoys socialising, television, and interior design.
EJ (Eduardo Jr) is 19 years old, he was enlisted to the US AirForce. He loves airsofting, football, and loves doing electrical works in our family construction business and acting manager if we go out of town.
Maria is 59 and enjoys cooking, watching movies, and television. She speaks English
Maria stays home most of the time as she is self-employed with home office.
Eddie is the Head (Father) of the house and owns a construction business.
The house has 8 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, of which, 4 bedrooms are available for homestay guests, mostly foreign students and tourists.
We have been hosting for many years now and we enjoy doing it as we enjoy hosting people of different cultures from different parts of the world as we learn a lot from them. We enjoy the interactions and conversations with our home stay guests.

About the Area
Our homestay is the perfect location within the boundary of San Francisco and Daly City, Ca. near to BART station, safe and quiet residential area, accessible to all public transportations. Near City College and San Francisco State University. Bus stop to BART/Train is right across the street from the house. Plenty of street parking if you have car. Once you confirm your booking you will get an email with our complete address so you won't have any problems finding us.

Place was neat and clean, well furnished, near to several bus routes on mission street, host was very friendly, still we had our privacy. We would recommend to all.

Chander and Marilou were very nice and loving couple. I felt good vibes with them, easy to talk to. They really kept the house so neat and tidy when they left the unit leaving me no cleaning work to do except to do the beddings.

Maria and her family are lovely hosts. We enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms and kitchen have just been remodeled. The family is very friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend staying in Maria's home.

The stay with the family Diao was great! We spent 3 weeks there and it became a temporary home for us. The whole family is so openhearted and friendly and they helped us in many ways and took us in like we were one of their own.
We booked a room in the big house, but they were so kind to upgrade us to an appartement with his own bathroom and kitchen in the house. They also lent us two bikes, which we could use during our stay. The best were our dinners with the family, Eddy cooked really delicate seafood two times. We enjoyed the stories about our different cultures a lot.
The booking, check in and check out was really uncomplicated. We had a great stay and recommend it to anyone! Thanks again Diaos, for the wonderful dance and the Tinikling bamboo dance!October 2018
I stayed here for two months. Really enjoy my stay here! This is the place feel like home. Eddie and Maria are super friendly and helpful. It's very sweet that Eddie always texted me and care about my safety if I went back home late. Also, they are good cooks. I've learned a lot from Maria. If you have time, you have to sit down and have a dinner with them. Try their Filipino dishes, it's really yummy. :P
I lived in a well-decorated room with a fridge and a big mirror, which is very nice. I can use the kitchen and TV in the living room. They have all the things you need so you don't have to buy any cooking utensils.
I'm really grateful for all the family members have done to me. Maria, Eddie, EJ, Mark, Evangeline, and Bonnie are all friendly, humorous and talkative. They give me lots of advice, teach me about American culture and always invite me to their events.
Thanks again, I feel very welcomed here. :)

We had the best time staying with Maria. She is a warm friendly and inviting host and made us feel so welcome. Her home although is not right in the heart of San Francisco the bus stops are just a small walk away. I highly recommend staying with her and her family. I cannot wait to go back for another visit. 5 star all the way. Thanks again Maria

Good location to public transportation, a local bus which is steps from the house takes you to Bart Daly in less than 10 minutes. From this station you easily connect to all directions including SFO which is about 20 minutes away. My Room was good sized with a wide screen and mini refrigerator and the shared bathroom is peachy with a large tube. Maria and husband Eddie are very nice people and the kitchen and breakfast nook area is very homey-it even includes an African Grey parrot who says, "good morning" to you as you head for the coffee pot and make yourself a cup. Their sons and daughter live in the house along with two dogs that are a bit loud at times. All in all, Maria's house is pleasant and well priced for the area.

Maria is a really good person and she is really helpful with her guess, the breakfast is good and healthy. My stay was good except the fact that the dogs and the home can be really noisy, so sometimes is difficult to have a rest...
The bus 14 and 14R are 5-6 min away from the home and take you to the downtown in 35-40 min.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
